Midtown West Hotel

I arrived at the hotel after 11:40 PM due to train delay and the staff was still waiting for me! The check in time ends at 10:30 PM. I really appreciate it!

Corridors were smelling quite bad. Room was extremely outdated. Felt totally ghetto. I’ve never stayed in a worse hotel and we travel very frequently. Location was A+ right next to MSG but it’s not worth the money you pay for this hotel. Look elsewhere. You’ve been warned.

My stay at Midtown West Hotel was extremely disappointing. The room and overall hotel experience did not meet reasonable expectations, and the issues significantly affected our stay. I raised my concerns, but they were not handled satisfactorily. Given the condition of the hotel and the experience we had, I would not recommend staying here. The property needs significant improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.

Very convenient location. Easy to find, walkable areas, close to Penn Station. Excellent!

The hair dryer is not functioning at all and as well as the room was very noisy throughout the night.

Great location. Keep your expectations according to your pay! No elevator.

Great value for a quick stay

I stay at a flooded hotel with broken sewage pipes, shower rod was weak and fell out as soon as I was in the shower, dirty white blankets, and lack of service from the hostest….. I demand a refund!

The area around the hotel is very dicey and scuzzy - lots of people passed out on the sidewalk and stumbling around. I'm a New Yorker so I was not shocked, even though I returned to the hotel after 11pm. I was glad that the room did not mirror the surroundings

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone; it smells really bad, the rooms are far too small, they don't clean, and the neighborhood is very bad.

You get what you pay for. It’s conveniently located but doesn’t offer much. Clean rooms but not much else. Good for a short stay.

I was in my room 20 minutes when they issued the same room to another person?? On my second night, the fire alarm in the whole building went off loudly from 1:30am to 2:30am. But otherwise great location for MSG events. Adequate bed, shower, and AC.

Second time staying here! Great location, easy check in. No elevator but not a bad walk up. Clean room. No complaints.

If you need something affordable next to MSG this is your spot. Two second walk to NY Pizza Suprema and MSG.
