JGSTAY - Times Square

Great place, clean, nice place. Convenient location. It is on the smaller side, but it works. It's a walk-up, which doesn't bother us, good exercise anyway.

My biggest complaint is I came back to the room with a massive headache late in the afternoon and wanted a nap before our show and they were doing work in the room next door. Literally hammer banging it was so loud. They stopped and like 15 min started up again. I tried multiple times to call the desk with no answer and I wasn’t about to trek down 5 flights of stairs and back up. They eventually stopped but I didn’t get rid of my headache it actually made it worse. The towels had hair on them it was gross.

One bedroom is what you expect. It's not that bad and it's quite cozy with the TV infront. A good option if you just need to sleep so you can get straight out in the city.

The location is very convenient. I really dont like how late the check in at 4pm and how early the check out 11AM. Also, you get exhausted climbing up the stairs and paying $5 USD per luggage even backpack no discount.

It's small and basic but gets the job done for an affordable convenient stay. It was clean too and staff was helpful.

I’ve enjoyed my stay at this place, and I want to give a huge thanks to the staff for providing with good service. My room was very cool (i wish i can get it again when i come back). Sidenote: I like the countries wall decor. Continue being one of the best hotels in Time Square

Great room if you are just looking for a place to sleep!

The room was fine, but small. The space was sufficient for a short stay, I would not recommend for longer than 2 day. The bathroom was open concept, when showering the water will get everywhere making a mess, the door was a thin sliding door that did not fit and would continue to open. The rest was ok, the location was convenient.

The hotel was in the best location for the theater district. The room was clean, but extremely tight/small. There is NO elevator. It was fine for a one night stay.

Good location and price was right! We were out all day during our stay, so the small room size was not an issue, it was all the space we needed. The decor is fun, unique, and perfect in the theater district! Would recommend for a short stay where all you need is a clean & quiet place to sleep & shower.

The air conditioning was extremely loud, the room was very small, and it was not clean. There was also no affiliated parking lot, and getting to the hotel was extremely difficult because of the traffic. I booked three nights, but when I arrived, I immediately wanted to cancel because of the conditions. Unfortunately, the hotel would not refund even one night. I ended up staying for only one night and leaving. The staff was also very unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again.

Excellent location! 5 minutes from time square, 15 minute walk from Central Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room was ready and they let me check in 2 hours early which is huge in NYC!

Very great for sleeping, has nice rooms and comfy bed. Everything was great, location was great and felt very safe. Everyone was helpful for the most part. Room got humid so some bugs were in the room, asked to change rooms or a refund and was told “the bugs were not a big deal” and that they were full so we could not change rooms. Manager was called and somehow a room opened up and we were moved. No problems after. No elevator, but they’ll offer to carry your bags up. Not bad if you’re able. Overall great stay and awesome for just having a place to sleep

There's no elevator , I'm unable to safely walk up the stairs especially to the 5th floor. The floor rug smells bad

Over all it was fine a good location and if I had to I would definitely stay again. The bathroom was condensed into one. Taking a shower on top of the toilet and sink wasn't the best. Also a walk up wasn't the greatest. The hotel experience is supposed to be relaxing and not tasking especially trying to get to your room.

If you’re a solo traveler looking for the “bare necessities” in a hotel room at a very reasonable rate, you can’t beat this property. The room and bathroom is small, but it was perfect size for a single traveler. There is no elevator, so you may want to look elsewhere if you can’t ascend the stairs, but regardless, this was a perfect stay for the price I paid!
