Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Midtown West

Very convenient, very clean, excellent bathroom, good mattress, but lacks room service.

Called hotel reception to let them know of my late arrival as suggested by Expedia ... the hotel immediately charged my card for the entire stay, plus an additional $300.00 that was never disclosed to me. When I called back to dispute this, your front desk staff initially told me that I was being automatically "upsold" to a different room. It took over an hour of stressful escalation to finally speak with a manager, who then claimed the $300.00 was a security deposit for a 3-day stay. Charging a guest's card for a full reservation early, alongside a hefty security deposit, without explicit authorization or upfront disclosure is completely unacceptable.

Only thing I didn’t like inside the small fridge not even a single drinking water nothing next time leave a small water bottle for your guests, other that everything else is A1 best location you can walk from anywhere you want to go

I was very happy with my stay. The hotel overall was clean and tastefully decorated. Enjoyed welcome robe and slippers. Exceeded my expectation. Staff were responsive to my needs.

Very well kept and customer focused

I paid extra for a high rise, skyline view and got a room with one building blocking the whole view. When I went and asked about a different room I was told that the only other room they have available has the view of New Jersey/worse than this room per staff. So stuck having paid extra in the room with no skyline view. The next day, called front desk inquiring about WiFi and the person on the other end could not have been more rude. Overall horrible experience and will never stay here again and never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The hotel staff was accommodating and very friendly. The room was specious and comfortable. The only thing I would add is to offer a short description of what is available in the hotel in the room.

The hotel location was perfect- it allowed us easy access to the pier where we took a dinner cruise, it was convenient to great local restaurants, and it was very safe and walkable.

The staff was very helpful at check-in/check-out. The room was very clean and the view of the NY skyline was gorgeous. The elevators were quick, clean and quiet. You had to use your room key in the elevator to go to your floor so it was very safe.

We had a great stay! The hotel was very modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything went smoothly and we really enjoyed our experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

The property was very nice the view made up for how small and expensive the place was. The property did not come with any amenities such as a pool or roof top. You have to walk 4 blocks to park your car. They did offer a discount for parking overnight which was nice. The staff was not pleasant at times calling for amenities such as towels
