We had a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom that dripped water our entire stay. Had to keep towels on the counter and floor. Then change them out for dry ones when they filled up with water. The bathroom stayed soaking wet at all times. We had a group getting hair and makeup done in the room so when they offered to switch our room that wasn't an option. Then the air conditioner was horrible in our room. Stayed hot the whole time. With what looked like mold on the wall probably from the leak in bathroom ceiling. Was given just a $20 refund for the entire stay. Definitely wasn't enough in my eyes.

The first front desk lady that was working when we checked in was so sweet. The second one that was there for night shift was an absolute joke. She was rude and had an attitude immediately. Trying to get valet was horrible. We ended up parking ourselves and walking to the hotel. Also why is the door chimes to get into the rooms so loud. Every time our neighbors would open their door, the chime to their door would ring through our room. Showers were incredibly outdated. Probably wouldn’t stay again. I’ll stick to staying at La palmas

Awesome trip……………………………….

Comfortable bed and helpful staff. The bathrooms need some maintenance.

The KASA Lafayette is in a great part of town. Right above Desi Vegas Steakhouse. You can't beat it!
-
Lafayette is close to the party that is New Orleans but removed from it all at the same time…beautiful St Charles Avenue views…clean, spacious rooms

The location was perfect ! Walking distance to Canal and Bourbon Street. Lots of great restaurants and if you’re traveling for a celebration, it’s the perfect place to get wasted ! lol we were tipsy from the free samples up and down bourbon street. The room was really nice. The only problem I had were some tiny bugs had made there way inside the room, but I’m almost certain it’s because we left the balcony window open ! Definitely should offer a complimentary breakfast (the early morning walk was crazy after drinking all night) lol but overall , I can’t wait to bring the entire family back with me next time upon my visit !

We love staying here. It’s in a nice area, within walking distance to everything. We stay in the king suite when we come and it’s very nice. Very clean and staff very nice. We will continue to stay here when we can when we come to New Orleans. The prices are very reasonable, also.

Didn’t like the pilllows they were small and flat

One of the best kept secrets in New Orleans. Safe, convenient, clean, friendly staff, and accessible to the trolley and a ton of great restaurants 1-2 blocks away. Great spot!

Always my 'go to' in New Orleans. The staff is always top notch, the place is nice and clean and in a great spot in town. I always recommend this place to friends and co workers, 10/10!!

The Lafayette was great. We loved the old time decor and the ease of check in. The room was very clean and all facilities worked great. Most importantly for a visit to NOLA on an August week, the AC was Arctic cold.

They brought us a 6 inch fan at 12:15am, and offered us a $25 refund. And I will add when we checked in there was an extra $25 non refundable charge for a “deposit” We essentially got our “deposit” back 😆😒 I wrote Kasa, and asked instead of $25 back could we be offered another stay when the air conditioning was working so we could have a proper comfortable stay. They declined. They offered us $50 off our next visit. Needless to say, we won’t be back! Sadly.

Everything was perfect. Great location.

Good hotel but not wonderful

I will say though that I wish I would have known that the street car is directly outside the front of the hotel and sounds like a freight train at all hours of the night. The walls felt paper thin to the noise of that as well as the partying outside which is to be expected in NOLA. The room service was very good, and timely. Also, it should be known that the valet service is $98 for a two day pass, and you can request your car by the press of a button.

Air conditioning was good and our room was quiet and plenty big for the four of us. Location was excellent for walking to white linen nights. Pour over coffee was awkward but there was a kerig machine on the mezzanine.
