I did not like it that there was no one at the desk when we arrived to check in at 4 pm. We had to call on the phone and wait at least 5 minutes to check in.

A place to lay my head

Cons: deadbolt couldn't be locked from the outside, but did work from the inside. Doorknob lock worked fine. Television was basic cable with a fuzzy and snowy picture, but sound was ok. Still watchable for what it was. I didn't try the internet. Some electrical sockets were loose and failed to power a phone charger.

Upon checking into my room I found MULTIPLE bed bugs. There were dead cockroaches in the AC unit. Entire property is run-down and disgusting. Front desk staff was unapologetic and simply did not care whatsoever. I would recommend finding accommodations elsewhere.

Must have been great in its heyday but it is quite run down now. Still the room was clean and there was plenty of hot water and the beds were comfortable, so it’s got the essentials!

Horrible parking and easy to get to was poor at best room was ok but ac unit ran off and on all night even with it set to run nonstop just kind of shabby even with them trying to fix up l would of gladly paid more to stay elsewhere their online ad is misleading at best

Norhing It was dirty, remote was sticky bugs in the bed Didn't even stay we left and went to another hotel

It is not a clean place. After staying over we moved a chair and a big hairbrush was on the floor full of hair. When I turned, the shower on brown poured out, but it did clear up. After the fact, I realized there was no hairdryer. The only shampoo and conditioner they have is one tiny packet. The positive side to this is it is right by the Brown County music center, so it’s literally a five minute walk. When coming down the stairs, though we were met by a toilet, which is disgusting. I highly suggest you stay somewhere else. If there had been anything else available, I would have asked for my money back.

Close to town

When I entered the room I immediately saw dead bugs, holes in the wall, and lamps that had flood lights instead of regular light bulbs. This was not a place I was going to stay an hour or more in. Went back to the front desk, turned in the key, and looked for a different place to stay.

No breakfast served, but McDonalds 100 feet away. Location was close to the main strip with all the shops and restaurants. Very nice to have a refrigerator and microwave which no other hotels in the same price range had. This was the main reason I chose Salt Creek Inn. Outside chair was comfortable to sit in. Also the 2 seater couch was nice and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable. The shower wasn't real clean especially the floor. Large gap under door where bugs could get in. I placed a rolled up towel by the bottom of the door.

Very good

The bed was comfortable. It appeared that the hotel had recently changed hands, they appeared to be in the middle of a major overhaul. The building is a two story hotel without an elevator, the only ice machine was in the office on the first floor, and the smoke detector in our room was hanging at an angle from one screw. Due to some error, I hope, the electricity in our room was off as a result of a tripped GFI plug in the restroom area .

They are undergoing a big redo of the place. It will be nice when it is done.

It is right next to an IGA store, McDonalds, and Family Dollar store. Right before the strip of shops for tourist. Itis also close to the State park. They are undergoing a big redo of the place. It will be nice when it is done.

There was nothing to like but the price! They have bed bugs in rooms 108 and 111 for sure! They snarl about clean towels and toilet paper. Horrible place and does not belong in Nashville. I was shocked that Expedia even would rent from such a place!! I would recommend Hotel Nashville!

Got a room at another place. Did not mention the name to the other establishment..just told them we had a reservation at another place and what our impression was upon seeing it. They said..and I quote" yeah, Salt Creek is empty for a reason". Expedia...you need to disassociate yourselves from Salt Creek Inn.
