The Oceanfront Viking Motel

The people were very nice. The hotel was very clean.

We enjoyed our stay at the Viking very much. It is a good location and right on the beach. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our balcony looked right onto the ocean. We had a good stove and a full sized refrigerator. There was a very nice pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a very good time!

Liked it was right on the beach and had a little kitchenette in it but the the stove had greasy spots on it other than that it was alright

Excellent location. We’ve stayed here before and it wasn’t great but we gave it a second chance and we’re glad we did. It’s under new management and the owners are making tons of improvements including replacing the gross carpet, upgrading the AC, and fixing the elevator. They own another establishment down the street that we frequent regularly. Beach access is fantastic and even wheelchair accessible. Our family of 5 stayed in a 2 bedroom unit with a kitchenette and a beautiful ocean view and it could not have been more perfect for us! It isn’t fancy but felt safe and it’s everything we need for an affordable beach stay! We will be back again!

The motel wasent to bad of a motel the staff was very kind! The room could have been a little cleaner!

The Wi-Fi was poor. Couldn’t even get on the Wi-Fi or barely watch TV. The whole time was there. There were no pots in the room.

Tvs didnt work,holes in walls,mold on air conditioner,definitely needs a lot of updating!

Had a good view of the beach. The beds were really comfortable and the employees were very nice.

Honestly you get what you pay for. The lady at the front desk and the owner accommodated us when we arrived with no hesitation at all when we where upset about the cleanliness of our rooms… you can tell they’re trying to be better. But for the most part , I can’t complain to much. It’s was convenient and it worked for my family of 6. We made the best of it and enjoyed ourselves.

The room needed upgrade needs a new housekeepers that know how to clean the room was very dirty

Nothing! Very nasty! The room had empty soda bottles under it. The phone didn’t work and it was nasty. The tub wasn’t clean,

$100 Cash deposit, when arriving.

This was myb3rd or 4th time staying here. I love it here. Me and my family and friends had 2 rooms, 3 queen beds each, and it was more than enough room. This is a great place for families on a budget, friends, anything. Don't expect a 5 star and you're good!! Great value, we cooked out one night, good parking and only a half block from the small walmart., which is awesome btw!! I'll be staying here next time no doubt.. we had a blast Viking, until sept, yall be safe Only thing I would have changed is 2 tvs in each room, thats a big thing at night for my mom and my son had his ps5 going, so it was give n take

I didn’t like that the photos on Google was misleading because the rooms looked nothing like the photos on the Internet. The room was nasty. We found previous people’s shoes in the room. One of the beds was pissed in and they covered it up instead of not running the room out or cleaning it properly. I was supposed to stay there two nights after the first night. I got a refund on the next night that I was supposed to stay and I’m working on getting my refund back for the first night I stayed because that was a horrible experience.

Very nice and comfortable

The room really needed some deep cleaning. The curtains were entirely tooooooo long. The stove was just pure nasty. The bathroom needed some strips in the bathtub to prevent slipping in the tub while showering.

The manager in the lady at the desk were very kind enough to stay for me as I was delayed three hours due to an accident in my travels. With that being said, the rooms were dirty curtains were dirty dirt on the walls the lamps. Plastic stripping coming off in the shower no toilet paper holder had to look for the toilet paper just very old and totally needs an upgrade also, I did see insects totally not what I expected and very disappointed.

The room was big and the beds comfy. It was under new management and I could tell improvements were being made. It was clean. I would 100% book here again. The shower curtain didn't have the weighted magnets at the bottom. It kept touching me while I showered. I hate when the shower curtain touches me. Had to unplug the microwave so I could use the outlet to charge my phone.

Love that its right on the beach and was dog friendly staff was very friendly Parking was a NIGHTMARE, our blanket had burn holes from cigarettes on it. Could tell ceiling had been patched in several spots. The wall was peeling bad in alot of spots. Not place to plug phone, had to unplug lights in order to charge 2 phones. Stove had rust all on the top
