Sands Ocean Club Resort

The staff was super helpful and the view and amenities were great! The room was nice , could have been a little cleaner , but it was other than that it was a great stay !

The view was obstructed, staying on the second floor so really wasn't a pure ocean front view, but hotel was good, staff was excellent room was clean..travelers tip, get the highest level room 9th and up

If you’re into night life - you will enjoy the band that plays every night till 11pm down at the pool/snack bar area. However if you are planning on the beautiful sound of just ocean-that will be difficult to find from your balcony . We were very underwhelmed by the lack of cleanliness in our bathroom, uncomfortable mattress and the overall Quality Inn feeling. We appreciated the last minute ocean front reservation; however the wall to a neighboring room was so thin we could hear a very heated conversation that continually woke us up all through the night. Very Sad

Room was a tad dirty when checking in. Sheets and towels were replaced but trash wasn’t fully taken out. Sand was just pushed into the corner of the bathroom. And doesn’t seem like much of the room was sweeper or vacuumed. View was great - prime location for all adventures. Overall a good experience minus the room being a tad messy.

I didn't like the infestation of roaches in the room, they were crawling everywhere.

Room was not clean upon arrival. There was food under the mattresses and the sheet over the box spring was stained and full of food crumbs. Had to wipe down all of the counter tops and bathroom as it was still dirty - the floors were full of grit and dirt and I had to sweep the floor on arrival. Vents had mold and mildew around them. We have stayed here for the last 3 summers and this was by far the worst.

Great place, friendly staff

Not a great start to the trip when the resort has zero luggage carts for guest. Ether haul your luggage up to your room by hand or pay one of their “Bellhops”. The room was dirty from top to bottom. Broken closet doors, smelled of mold and overall zero up keep. Would not recommend staying at the resort.

Upon entering the room, we had no shower curtain, the door did not deadbolt and there was a cupboard broken. 2 days before our stay ended, our A/C stopped working. Maintenance was notified, however we were not offered a new room for this Inconvenience. We ate at one of the restaurants on-site. Good food and decent pricing. We asked for a certain food Item to be taken out of something we ordered as I stated I was allergic. The food was brought out with said allergy on plate. The waitress was not very friendly overall, not a busy spot either. I loved the beach view, the balcony, the pool / beach side bar, I do not see myself staying here again.

The rooms were clean i loved the view sun and wind. I will stay there next year for the whole week .we stay at the dayton it was horrible no wind.so next year it will be here loved it

There was black mold all over the ceiling the rugs were damp.. overall it was aweful

Had a great view and a great time, and is in a great location with a lot of local things to do
