Room was clean but 3 different rooms had to use the same bathroom in the hostel house. Definitely go grab food at the dinner next door for breakfast and the steakhouse next to it is definitely worth the stop try the specialty Mule it was amazing! The 14oz steak was delicious as well and cooked to perfection. Will definitely stop for a bite next time we are in the area.

Lovely resort. They also have a convenience store (also where you check in) with souvenirs, snacks, clothes, essentials (reasonble price! compared with grand teton park..). No free breakfast but they have two resturants: one for breakfast/lunch and one for dinner. I love the breakfast one - I had the best hash brown there. Dinner is not my type tho.

This resort was ADORABLE. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. The little store in the reception area was great and had so many cute things along with necessities if you forgot something. The dining was DELICIOUS and the scenery was gorgeous. I would stay there again and plan to if I go back to the Teton area. Oh they even had a little gas station for fill ups which was really helpful. It was an adorable place to stay and enjoy time in the quiet away from the park, but close enough to be at the park within 20 minutes.

Room was locked when we arrived and staff could not open it for a long time and eventually opened it but we were not able to lock from inside for the night.

Very clean and cozy. My family enjoyed our night.

We didn’t want to stay in Jackson because of the crowds so we chose this place closer to the Grand Teton and while it was definitely quieter, I thought for the money the room would’ve been much nicer. The room only had a couple of outlets and at one point there was a blown fuse somewhere on the campus. They didn’t have central air so the fan they initially provided was big enough to cover an industrial size garage, and was as loud as an airplane. The front desk said they’d look into finding a replacement but we never heard back from them…so it took me tracking down the custodian who found one right away to get it resolved.

Very comfortable room with best shower I've seen in long time! Two great restaurants on site were very good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There is no cell service in this area but the wifi here was good. Breakfast restraunt was fine. Dinner was pricey and small portions. The place was clean and very comfortable bed. No ac but the cool nights with windows open was nice. Quiet, clean place if you need to sleep.

Unfortunately, I accidentally booked one of the standard “dormitory” rooms with a shared bathroom. That’s on me, but it’s also easy to miss when booking. My biggest issue wasn’t the shared bathroom. It was the value. At about $220 per night, I expected a room with a few basic comforts. Instead, the room is located in an attic above the general store and was extremely hot. The only relief was a very loud fan. There weren’t enough electrical outlets, so we had to choose between plugging in the fan or watching TV. There were not enough outlets by the bed, no nightstand to set down a phone or glasses, and the bright hallway light spilled into the room all night. None of these are expensive fixes, and addressing them would make a huge difference. A nightstand, additional outlets, better light blocking, and improved ventilation would go a long way toward making the room feel like it’s worth the price. I would absolutely stay at the Hatchet Resort again because the property itself is wonderful. Next time, though, I’d happily pay more for one of the cabins with a private bathroom and would avoid the dormitory room,

We stayed in a cabin-like room that was very comfortable. The walls were logs but the bathroom was modern. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site (Whetstone). Though there was a bit of a wait, the food was good.

I didn't like having to share the bathroom with two more units

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

It was very cute and comfortable. Would stay again.

This is a bare-bones room with no fridge, microwave, or AC. The space is small and tight with two queen beds. But the location is hard to beat. The Whetstone restaurant, walkable, was very good.

So expensive for what it was. No breakfast included. No fridge or microwave. No water bottles. No AC. The hotel is transparent about all of this I suppose but man, ~$750 for two nights without any of these amenities is so crazy. Almost wish we continued camping for those two nights to save $700.

NO A/C, mosquitos in the room.
