Monarch Valley Inn Marina at Monterey Bay

the Room was cean the apliances need updating. Breakfast was no good they should modify to self serve. but room was clean and convinient.

The front desk gentleman who checked us in his name was Logan he was absolutely fabulous he got us extra towels and an ironing board he was very kind the only issue I would say was the television kept going in and out we had to keep messing with the cables to get the TV to stay on but other than that the property was great the staff was great and they were very kind and we think them so much for letting us stay

We always have such a wonderful experience when staying at this property. The customer service is exceptional, the property is always clean and well maintained, and our room was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrive, we feel welcomed, comfortable, and safe. This has truly become our home away from home whenever we are in Monterey visiting our daughter. We always look forward to coming back and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

I was able to rest and enjoyed my stay here. Everything was good. The only thing when we got there I was confused because it look different from the pictures they have on the app. The manager told be that they just had remodel the place. But overall very happy and the breakfast was good.

close to Monterey attractions. Very basic hotel. Breakfast was a brown bag carry out and coffee at front desk. Hotel signs not visible from road as they had been taken down and put on the side. The office is a desk inside the grocery store of the gas station. Convenient for a simple overnight stay.

Staff is extremely helpful

The internet service had a very poor connection.

Mind you it wasn't bad, just not great. The room was a decent size, not the most comfortable pillows, and there were random long hairs on the sheets, like 2 or 3. Other than that it was ok, not close to the city but we actually found a really good Mexican restaurant near by.

Room was quite spacious with thoughtful design details such as art on the walls and selection of books. Coffee for breakfast was decent, but the to go breakfast was mostly sugary snacks and sweetened yogurt. But there was a banana and two small mandarin oranges.

Tv didn’t work and was very very very small like lightning flash high and low

Every room had a plastic chair and weathered standing ash tray outside the door. That was disconcerting because its advertised as non-smoking and if your neighbor smokes then the smoke would just go through your window. There were many chipped and worn areas of paint throughout the room and bathroom. The bathroom also had several large patches of missing paint. Towels were tiny and thin. Water pressure and temperatures were excellent. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again but if you need a clean basic place to stay and this meets your price point, then it might be an option for you.

No breakfast like they promised

The bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows. The TV was small and hung too low. The room was clean. That is about all it had going for it.

The staff were very accommodating the room was very clean and quiet. The convenience of the convenience store and gas station on the grounds was great.

I would rate this motel at 3 stars. Not very clean. Not well maintained. Needs updating. On the plus side there’s a microwave and a mini fridge.

No.it wasn't neve r made it there

Perfectly nice, but rather old and dated. Felt scruffy. Good location and helpful to have a shop and gas station.

This is not near any Marina at the harbor. Its a gas station motel miles away from anything you would want to see.

It was close to the beach. Not much to do in the evening but was good for the 1 night we stayed.

Inexpensive, clean hotel. Quiet and good location
