Wasn’t sure when I first arrived however glad I did book this hotel. Great location near subway and was good to get away from more crowded areas, I enjoyed seeing a different part of NY. Nice places to eat and drink especially at the harbour front. The hotel was quiet at night, the staff were friendly, hotel was very very clean and we got a good breakfast. This is all we wanted so fair play. I also used the laundry, which was very handy!

Excellent location- a few mins away from subway. It's also close to Trader Joe's and Target. The room is basic yet spacious. We had a pleasant stay.

Very clean room, comfortable bed, helpful front desk staff

I loved the rooftop, where visitors to NYC can have dinner under the sky .

Nothing fancy, but a very nice 24hr rooftop with awesome views of the Manhattan and Queens skylines, free breakfast, free 24-hr bagels/tea/coffee, nice rooms, and easy access to the subway (E-line, so easy to get to LGA/JFK/Manhattan). Great value, would stay there again without hesitation.

Good rooms and central to several places including a train terminal

Minimal hotel that was quiet and beneficial for a solo traveler.

Great place to stay. Great location very close to subway line. Breakfast was good Andy’s area is very tranquil and felt very safe. Would definitely stay there again.

I like the free hot breakfast, lots of choices. Hot water, cold water and tea available 24/7. Roof top terrace is nice, especially with night view of Manhattan and bridge. Staff very helpful. Close proximity to various subway lines is a big plus.

The room was very small only an office chair sink had no stopper. That being said it was very clean and cleaned each day. The pictures of the rooftop have to be when the hotel first opened. There were 4 plastic creamy picnic tables. The floor was with paint worn out in places. It was very clean thought. Breakfast is nice, clean and well done You are allowed 30 minutes in the breakfast room. Staff was very nice .I would call it upper Red Roof Inn and maybe 3 stars

On the Saturday of our visit, there was a party going on the rooftop of the adjacent property. The disco music was extremely loud. We complained to the staff twice at about 10.00 PM but were informed they could do nothing about it as the problem was related to the adjacent property. The following morning a new staffer apologised and informed us that the manager had indeed taken up the matter at night and the matter was resolved by midnight. In the meantime we suffered from 10.00 PM to midnight.

It was clean, the room was quiet, and the location was just a short walk from the subway. I hope they could offer at least 3 or 4 different breakfast options. We stayed for 6 nights, but they only had 2 sets of meals that were served on alternating days. Overall, the food was great, and we had a great experience. We really enjoyed our stay!

It was tucked in a little neighborhood but it was nice. The staff was nice and the morning breakfast was really good.
