Red Roof Inn Lansing East – MSU

The room that I booked was supposed to be a superior king. After checking in the key card to the room that I was given, did not work. I returned to the office and I was told that they didn’t have any other king rooms available. I was given a double bed room that was not cleaned very well and actually still had a dirty towel from the previous guest still in the room.

Several days prior, l paid for 2 nights and upon late arrival I found out they had gave my paid room away. & told me they was booked for the night, after explaining I was coming in from out town she decided to offer me a room and told me I had to pay for the room. I ask her how do you paid for something that is already paid for. After asking me to pay for my room again I told her to cancel everything and left. This put me in a bind because I had to go and find me another room after driving 12 hours.

The staff was great! Room was clean! Nice accommodations! Nice and helpful housekeeping! I would just say trying to keep the outside cleaned up.

Location and staff No proper security. Interiors of room was a wreck. Couch was torn. Floor and dry wall was peeling off. Carpet was so nasty. No proper dustbin, just a tiny one that too at the sink.

We arrived and nobody was at the front desk so we waited about 30 minutes for someone to come and called support and they couldn’t reach them either. Then when they showed up they gave us keys to our room and we walked over. Opening the door to the room let out a pungent disgusting smell and there was no bedsheets, a mop knocked over, and hairballs on the ground. The AC did not work either. We got a refund quickly but still a terrible experience

I liked that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Nonsmoking rooms were full of smoke and odor. I don’t appreciate 2nd hand smoke. I reserved a nonsmoking room. I requested a new nonsmoking room, but even that one reeked with cigarette smoke. I slept with my head under the sheet. It was that bad

Toilet leaking, no tv or plate in microwave. Staff promised to come fix it never showed up.

No coffee maker in the room...

It was terrible, the rooms filthy the TV worked but there was no cable that I had nothing to watch the whole time I was there The Wi-Fi sucked I tried to watch Netflix on my phone and it kept cutting in and out because of the reception of the Wi-Fi... The room I got I had only handicap parking in front of it so I had to park a significant distance away from the room itself Basically the cleanliness it was filthy

The smell of marijuana was over powering. Beds were dirty and had fleas.

The other residents The staffs illegal black mail, manipulation and theft of my hotel fare change. The dirty hotel room thq5 wasn't even the room I orded . The disrespect from the desk staff and threats by.them. the 5 workers intimidated me
