I asked if I can pay to upgrade my room do to the smell staff member told me no rooms available when I went online to book it showed they had plenty rooms I would never come back this was a horrible experience for me , the toilet paper wasn’t a new roll either it was half way through and no new roll in sight, felt like everything was really old school molded and not functioning

Extremely hard to get the front desk on the call. Phones in the room were not working at all. The hot water pool in the room was not hot at all, complained three times to three people at front desk, connected the front desk through paradise resort, no face wash or body lotion ere provided in the room, our breakfast reservation was not showing in the computer system at all that we had to add manually. No hand soap in the washroom of the diner, no paper napkins.

Every thing was well organized. I love it

I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at this location but when making a reservation at the dinner restaurant they weren’t very nice. We had to wait longer for those who had reservations and they simply ignored us saying those who have reservations come first, which I understand but earlier that day I tried to make a reservation. I was on the website trying to book it but there wasn’t any reserve now button or number, so we ended up leaving and going to a local restaurant in PA instead. Overall, I loved the activities and our suite was clean and beautiful. I would come again to get the champagne tower this time as we had the garden of Eden.

We enjoyed our stay like 8 years ago, it was very relaxing . The only Complaint would be is that our room only got cleaned one time in four nights no wash clothes or towels for showers.

Anyway the first night the food was inedible the next morning we were starving for food so we had our again with no reservation. They made a point of saying that. We didn't eat there the second night. On the third night that we hadn't made a reservation for dinner we arrived on time sat for dinner and all the waiter were so stressed out do to the kitchen staff inexperience and loosing orders we sat after 10 pm. before our main dish was served. Never received our soup.

Once you get past the musty, dated rooms and accept that the staff is doing the best they can with what they were given, it gets better. Do not go here if you want comfort or luxury. Go here if you want to be reminded of what those things were in the sixties. Enjoy the activities, find out the food is pretty ok, and partake in the ability to have a few drinks and see some entertainment on the property. Then retire to your round bed, call it a day. Avoid at all costs if you’re picky or a clean freak. You won’t make it.

The breakfast was just okay, I would have rated it higher but the potatoes were cold. We liked the location and the activities First check in time was over a hour late and we had a long wait in line to check in. The house keeping was the worst we saw ever. I took about a dozen pictures of Cobb webs, mirrors that were not cleaned, bugs, sheets that had had what looked like blood stains and other things on them, the freezer was so filled with ice crystals we couldn’t use it, and several areas where the mounding was coming off. The toilet lid had something on it that another guest left behind. There was a straw sitting on the bed frame left by the previous guest. We were late for check in waiting for the room to be cleaned and this is what we got! For the price we paid it wasn’t good.

The staff who has been there over 30 years is still there and we appreciate that. That gift store was out of candy and other things due to fact it is up for sale. Hopefully the right buyer will purchase property and make it back into the way it was many years ago.
