Love the old feel with modern comforts It’s weird checking in and out of a hotel without any human interaction. Especially in a small town like Jacksonville where hospitality is key to the culture

Location and historical building

Was there a breakfast? The coffee maker was dirty it still had a coffee pod in it. I felt the room was very small for 2 people. Also on Sunday morning 8Am my husband got locked out of the building when he went to get coffee when he returned the key pad said it had expired! Thank goodness I was still in the room.

Location and beauty. No issues!
-
Comfy bed, good location We could hear everything in our room…bring ear plugs.
-
no food available for breakfast, I had to walk 3 blocks to a coffee shop no one told me there were 3 flights of stairs to my room. The room had no closet and was facing a VERY noisy street
-
Well renovated room. Very clean. Would like to see the carpet replaced with wood or quality vinyl flooring. Carpet in bedroom area. No closet. Outside stairs that were quite steep.

The property was beautifully designed and centrally located. Communication with the property was exceptional.

Location Small

An amazing blend of historic ambiance and modern amenities. One of my favorite historic hotels.
-
Clean room close to everything.

I’ve stayed here several times now and love its location and comfortable beds. Easy entry, and complementary coffee+ from local cafe. The rates keep climbing and this stay had louder guests than I’ve experienced previously.
-
Loved the efficient check in-out system. Great location. Small but nice room. WiFi signal too weak to use. Mattress was too soft.
-
Loved the location, walking distance to restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops. The room was beautifully appointed;comfortable bedding, lovely aesthetics and all necessary items for travel. Parking was easy and close to entrance. Keyless entry a breeze
-
The historic building was located right downtown overlooking the main road with easy access to shopping, dining and our concert at the Britt.

Restaurant is closed was closed during are stay

Well-appointed room and friendly people. Terrific restoration of this hotel. Loved arriving and enjoying the wine bar cocktails and breakfast offerings.

There was a weird smell in the hallway that the innkeepers said they would address. We kept the windows open, and so it didn't affect our stay except walking through the hallway. I think it was due to new construction perhaps.

Location, decor, overall look, comfy bed, Stairwells everywhere. No in person customer service. Made it a bit confusing especially for breakfast or trying to utilize the lounge area. We were told we couldn’t sit with friends and share a bottle of wine (even offered to pay corkage)later on they realized we were guests and did apologize but it was too late. Just a lack of connection with the hotel guests and the amenities.

Right in town, clean, nice layout, great charcuterie breakfast, good free glass of champagne, wonderful bartender (Loren?) Stairs. I’m handicapped but did manage the stairs, albeit slowly
