The Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa

The Inn was lovely, the room was wonderful with views of the mountains, a gas fireplace we even used in a chilly August night, and a large jacuzzi tub. We used the sauna and relaxation room after a long hike, which was amazing. We had dinner snd breakfast in the deck looking at the mountains. The good and service were fantastic. Loved our stay!

I’ve stayed at Thornhill several times. The experience is phenomenal from the beginning to end. The check-in process is wonderful. The rooms are all absolutely beautiful. The dinner is so good. I would drive there just for dinner if I didn’t have time to stay the night. Everybody is kind and everybody is eager to assist you with anything you need. I highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in one of the cottages! My partner is a big fan of the tubs! Fabulous breakfast with real maple syrup.

Loved the location and peacefulness of the property. We stayed in a cottage off at the back of the property. Needed a bit of TLC. Well appointed but hadn't known about the full sized bed and the small room. It was cute. The back deck was not clean and did not look appealing with the condition of the. deck and light fixtures. Breakfast at the main inn was amazing with wonderful friendly servers. The view is so serene. Not sure how the rooms are in the Inn but I would return and stay in the main building.

So pastoral and quiet, service was excellent, breakfast on the porch was great, bartender very knowledgeable and friendly, great drinks. A great getaway from the city!

The Inn has a lovely setting and a wrap around porch that enables guests to enjoy the views and beautiful weather. We ate all our meals outside although there was also a very nice dining room. Highly recommend having meals at the Inn - the food was a step above your typical fine dining experience yet it wasn’t stuffy. We stick to wine but it was clear many of the guests were enjoying craft cocktails handcrafted by the bartender. We stayed in the Mount Washington suite. Lots of room, comfortable seating, beautiful views. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

We have been going here for 6 years. This last we were 10 minutes early to check in they said our room wasn’t ready and that they would come get us when it was ready. Were getting checked in my husband and I went to the desk and the lady said oh there you are when the previous lady said she would come get us. Normally we are greeted with Prosecco and this time we weren’t offered it kind of a disappointment other than that it was good.

Best room was booked Facilities close early. Did not have opportunity to have dinner in wine cellar. No access to spa.

Excellent hotel. My only issue is when they ask to respect strict hours for breakfast. Otherwise, I recommend our Mount Washington Suite, which provides panoramic views of the white mountains.
