The room was ideal; we had an ocean view and enjoyed the stay. Hotel (housekeeping) was great. Had problem with sink leaking and was fixed in a matter of hour. Highly recommend. Several restaurants inside hotel and close in proximity. Will definitely visit again.

It was all an amazing experience. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for the tea and amazing view. Thanks for my birthday chocolates.

All the stuff is really nice and the location in a quiet yet bustling area, it faces Waikiki Beach, and the main street is just a right turn from the hotel entrance, making it very convenient.

Room is decently equipped, but the bathroom is not super convenient- for a room that can accommodate 4 people (and near a beach) having one towel hook and one tiny rack is very limiting. The parking garage (self parking) is in the adjacent building and is not so friendly - you need to allow some time to climb up and down.

Biggest issue I had is that the check-in desk is on the second floor. Quite a distance from the front entrance. The elevator to the second floor is quite a distance away. And bell service is basically non-existent. A bell boy walked us to the elevator, while my wife and I wheeled 4 bags. Over carpet. Quite difficult to do. Same thing when we checked out. A bell boy was standing near the front desk. Looking out into the street from the balcony. If you have big/heavy baggage rethink this hotel. Also only 4 elevators to a 40 floor tower with 15-20 rooms per floor. Always had to wait. Several times the elevators would be full. Especially when going down. The pool is quite small. What is called a ‘pool bar’ is a regular bar next to the pool.

The overall experience was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and willing to help you at the drop of a dime. The food was absolutely fantastic, a bit pricey but what isn’t in Waikīkī? Get the regency club it’s worth it for the breakfast alone. I would suggest if you’re going to get a car you rent it in the hotel so you get valet parking at no additional cost. The parking deck sucks! There was a free performance right outside the resort on Saturday night. The views are spectacular all the way around the resort so there is no such thing as a bad room. The room was clean with plenty of linens. The lobby is just breath taking, with lots of plants and trees and a couple of waterfalls coming down from the third floor. There is a small shopping center inside the resort with a pretty good coffee shop that I visited a few times. You’re within walking distance of all the great shops, restaurants, farmers markets and my personal favorite Dukes ally. The pool is slightly heated and the hot tub is huge, and the perfect temperature. You are only a few steps away from the ocean and the drive to all the cool snorkeling spots and sights are manageable from this location. I would highly recommend the Hyatt and I will be staying there again.

Most of the staff was nice and helpful except for some in valet parking. Parking is a big hassle as well.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Hyatt Regency. We unfortunately went at the time LaLa decided to roll through. It wasn’t too bad, just some wind and rain for Saturday night and into Sunday. By Monday it was back to normal. The staff handled the situation flawlessly even with some calling out due to the storm. If there was one complaint it would be the elevator wait time down in the lobby. But honestly it’s not too bad. Who can complain when you’re in Hawaii anyways! This place will always be recommended. Perfect location, walking distance to everything.

We were there as a major remodel was going on in the atrium. Other than that the place was amazing and our views were of the best we have had in the islands.

Got an upgrade to the ocean front high floor room and it was PERFECT! Had an amazing time, it was everything and more. The only downside was the small bathroom and the shower floor was not the best, but in the grand scheme it was a non-issue for me personally. The staff were kind, the location was so central and made it even more worth it. So glad I stayed here for my first visit to HI!

A decent stay. The room overlooked Waikiki beach which was nice, however noisy traffic and the sound of the ocean at night. More swimming pools needed for a 40 floor hotel, one swimming pool is not enough. Also more restaurants/eating places on site. Bathroom and shower was quite cramped. However, staff were quite helpful.

Surprised by how much we liked this place. Location was outstanding, rooms were big and comfortable. Lots of shopping and eats nearby.

This hotel is a 3-star at best. The pool is very small for the amount of floors, rooms, guests. The bathroom for the Oceanview room was VERY small and they're overcharging to be right by the beach. You would be better off staying at the Embassy Suites Waikiki for the complimentary breakfast. Everything at the hotel comes at a cost. You have to pay $65 per night for parking, and food. There aren't enough amenities for this to be called a 4 star hotel. The resort fees are very high also. I should've listened to my friends and not went here.
