Super 8 by Wyndham Hershey Chocolate Avenue

Overall, had a great experience and would stay again. Things that stood out : proximity to Hershey Park, lots of restaurants nearby, room spacious and clean, breakfast decent, bible in room(unicorn). Suggestions for improvements: remove rugs. Lots of stains, mowing in room 305 kept falling down, no dressers for clothes.

We normally don’t stay at Super 8 hotels, but gave it a chance based on recent positive online reviews. The hotel appears to be recently renovated, staff was nice, hotel room was clean, air conditioning was cold. Mini fridge with freezer and microwave were new as well. Close to Hershey park.

Location

We were very satisfied with this hotel. It was reasonably priced compared to the other hotels around Hershey charging 399-700 per night. It had all the necessary amenities and breakfast was included which consisted of eggs, sausages, cereals, waffles and bagels and pastries. The room was clean especially the bathroom. The only tiny issue was the weak water pressure in the shower.

I was beyond shocked that this was a Super 8! It was my first time staying at a super 8 and I always thought of them as low down motels but it was surpassed my low expectations! It was very clean and the room was so nicely and decorated. It was also clean. The price was such a bargain for what I got and for the location. My dad was staying in the Marriott and we compared pictures and our bathroom looked way fancier than his and so did the rest of the room decor. I loved especially the ombré green bedding. They charge you if you want to check in a few hours early when other hotels don’t and just sometimes have the room ready earlier than 3. Also not enough tables and chairs for breakfast but they were very accommodating and let us sit by the front desk.

Very conventional to concert and Hersey Park. All good.

Very close to the Hershey amusements. Rooms were comfy and staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Parking lot was easy. Easy to get an Uber

Property is clean and breakfast is also very pleasant, easy parking and staff is very friendly.

The location, the cleanliness and the ease of use. Check in and check out was smooth. I had no room issues or problems with noise level. Breakfast was awesome too. That I didn't come to Hershey for my vacation this year. My daughters and I came to the park for the day and stayed over to avoid driving right back to Philadelphia after all the fun.

The taste wasn’t good, the quality wasn’t good, and neither was the brand. I didn’t like anything about it.

Good breakfast, large rooms but noisy. Noisy refrigerators and wall AC/heat units. Also can hear neighbors and neighbor movements reverberate to your room if big enough. Honestly being nice by giving 4 stars, probably more of a 3/5. One of the front lobby people's B.O. (no deodorant) was pretty bad. Not naming names but I bet that person is known.

Super clean felt very safe nice breakfast hot coffee close to Hershey Park and the stadium. I would go back definitely

Exceptional

Incredibly pleased with location and cleanliness of property. This is a bare minimum hotel, no pool, no outside space, but for a trip to Hershey with long park days it’s excellent value.

Everything was good. My only recommendation is to have vegan or pork free options for the breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
