Red Roof Inn Harrisburg - Hershey

So we give them the benefit of the doubt and go to check in. The first room they gave us was already occupied. There was pills and cash laying g on the bed. We went to the front desk. Told them. He was apologetic. Go to the second room to be greeted by large roaches everywhere. No door on the bathroom. Sheets were dirty. Went to get clean ones. The ones we got were dirtier than the first set. There was no way we were staying there. Found a much cleaner place. Don't stay here. They do not care about the conditions. The pictures on line are not of these rooms.

I should have known when I drove in and saw the parking lot and the condition of the lobby furniture that this was not going to be good. After check in, we drove around to the back of the hotel to make our way to the room from the outside. There were abandoned cars in the parking lot, people LIVING in the hotel, and hanging out outside of their rooms like it was a neighborhood party. We bolted and didn't even go into the room. Can't imagine what it looked like but I know we would have not survived the night. Total waste of time and money that I will never get back.

Please do not ever book this hotel ever. When we got there, there was a whole section of the hotel where people were living in. It was an absolute mess. The room smelled horrible. It had stains everywhere. The room didn’t look like the photos at all. everything had dirt on it. The sheets had cigarettes stains, we went to the front desk to ask for a refund because of false advertising and we’re given nothing and decided to drive home because the room was inhabitable.

It was dirty, room stunk, dogs barking, sketchy people hanging out, key didn’t wirk

The guy working was nice and helpful. It looked like the room wasn’t cleaned at all.

Front desk was not very helpful. Immediately reported to them and they stated it was a simple mix up. While attempting to calm down, I witnessed 4 cockroaches climb out of the tub. Comforters had stains and holes in them. Each bed only had 1 pillow and beds were so used that when you sat on them the spring had little to no resistance and provided no support.

Nothing. The place is total thrash hole Everything. Disgusting doesn’t begin to describe the conditions at that hotel

The staff was very helpful and handled everything well. But we got the feeling that people were living at the hotel full-time, with plenty of personal items visible around the property. Dog owners were not consistent about cleaning up after their animals, there were several obvious smells in indoor spaces, and our room wasn't on par. The toilet paper roll was broken, bed linens showed obvious wear and tear, etc. It worked for one night but I wouldn't have wanted any more.

Room was gross. Sheets and blankets dirty. Everything was sticky. Smelled really bad as well. Ended up leaving in the middle of the night it was so gross.

Nothing, it was a very scary experience Bathrooms were not clean, they were nasty, bedsheets smell like weed, rooms had Rocheese, and cockroaches around, random people were knocking at the door.

Don’t GO!!! This property should be condemned by the city and Expedia! Roaches, blood stains on comfortable, feces on wall, trash everywhere. Health hazards all over the place!!

Location was good The air conditioner didn’t work and the TV didn’t work. There were no rooms to move us. We ended up having to leave at 1:00am after we got back from our concert and tried to sleep. We had to drive an hour and a half home because it was so hot in the room

The room had bugs, dirty bed covers, stains on the walls, no soap in the bathroom.

Towels were filthy had to ask for a remote for tv that only had 2channels plugs were broke appliances were not working properly whole hotel was surrounded with drugs cats and vehicles in and out all hours of night for130.00 a night this was so unacceptable but all other motels were already booked very scary situation for 2 older females renting what we thought was advertised online a average red roof inn will never stay again and will not recommend to anyone

Nothing Cockroaches live and dead in the room. Bed sheets were filthy. One of them looked like it had dog prints on them. The room was just scummy overall and they should be ashamed for taking money for it. See pictures. I gave them their keys back within an hour of checking in and told them the problem. Even if they had offered another room I wouldn’t have taken it because of the cockroaches. Then. when I submitted the cancellation without fees request through booking.com they rejected it. So now I have to fight the charges and I’m awaiting response from customer service as I write this. Do not EVER book a room here! You will be better off sleeping in your car.
