The staff was very helpful and friendly. I forget his name but he was a young guy and was better than he needed to be (give him a raise!). I was very tired, so I quickly went to my room and tried to fall asleep. There was a lot of ambient noise - there seemed to be a lot of young people. I put on a podcast and was fine. The room itself was older with low quality finishes, thin walls, some of the charging ports didn’t work, but it was good enough. The pillows were very soft. I didn’t use any of the amenities and had to leave for the airport at 5AM, so didn’t try breakfast or anything. In the morning, my car was still there unharmed and off I went to the freeway, which is right there. Overall this hotel is basic but fine. Staff is great and that makes up for a lot. Price and location are good.

CONs: The elevator was intermittently out of service (which was inconvenient given we have a kid in a stroller). The free breakfast was fine (nothing fancy). There is one waffle maker, so prepare to wait. And for reasons I can't explain, it was uncomfortably hot in the small breakfast room, and they don't allow you to take breakfast to-go. It was late-July with no AC and hot appliances running in a small room packed with guests.

The breakfast is good and the staff is very well accomodating The floor is dirty, i think they forgot to do a vaccum and wipe verything even under the sink

Location was nice. People were nice. The problem was there was a party or unsupervised children or something going on loud banging with doors and thumbs on the ground but it happened all night long for hours and hours we pulled in around 9:30 and we couldn’t take it anymore. Left by 2:30 am. Was sent a text on how to contact staff if we needed anything. Left three messages, were unanswered, we could not take it anymore. Night clerk was rude to us. At 2:30 am .our check in clerk was nice.

Nice lay out Nothing at all.

Property served its purpose of a place to stay but appears well worn from families visiting Six Flags. My wife wouldn’t go on the elevator because of the warnings posted on it and for good reason because the next time we walked down it was out of order. The families there appeared to be enjoying the pool.

Nothing, absolutely nothing. I can't imagine how they get any business No light in the bathroom. Are you kidding me? 3 burnt out bulbs in the rest of the room. Cockeyed lamp shades. Dingy spots and marks on the walls. STICKY HANDLES ON THE ENTRY DOORS. That should clue you in to this shithole.

Still waiting for my secretary deposit to be refunded How the hot tub didn't work and the time its taking to get my security deposit back

Bad

The location was great The staff ignores bad children(letting kids be in the pool room without adults, then once adults were in there they were drunk), the pool room is super slippery more then an average pool, staff complains if you turn in towels and it has "stains" on it from having feminine issues or make up. The beds are really creaky.

Overall I’ll stay here again.

Staff was extremely nice. The property is dated and not maintained well. Pool was dirty and closed half the time we were there.

Breakfast was meh. Waffle mix was sour. No peanut butter. Was not the cleanest hotel. Pretty sure someone threw up in pool area and wasnt cleaned up. Young guy at front desk was great though.

Staff was really nice

Location They apparently have the thermostats set to switch to 80 during the day. And it was like 100 degrees in the breakfast room. Wasn't aware of $100 deposit untill i got there

The hall ways were dirty the entire stay. The same wrapper was on the floor outside our door the 3 days we were there. They didn’t clean the floor in our room before checking in. There was chips on the floor when we arrived. The vending machine was down.
-
They also dont keep their breakfast stocked. We stayed there 2 days and both days they were running out of food. The cleanliness of the hotel was horrible too. Both on the outside and inside.

It was nice and quiet, especially important as I work third shift

The location of this property is excellent. Close to 6 flags, Gurnee Mills and many restaurants. The staff was friendly. The property needs an overhaul and update. The hot tub did not work, the pool area wasn’t clean and smelled so strongly of chlorine it was almost overwhelming. The rooms are dated and out of the three rooms we booked - all of them had many cracked tiles in the bathrooms, scuffs, chips and stains on all of the furniture. The vending machines were empty, and the elevators smelled very bad.
