The view was amazing. The hotel lobby was nice and updated, not to mention cozy; the room was clean and comfy. Wish the big slide was not out of order, but the pool area was very nice either way.

I was impressed with the experience at the hotel! It was clean & had everything you could possibly need! The staff were extremely friendly & I enjoyed the trolley that took you anywhere you needed to go so you didn’t have to struggle with parking in the downtown area! I will definitely stay here again!

The room was super clean, the restaurants were amazing. I loved that the gift shop was open 24 hours, the free trolly was an amazing surprise (it goes to downtown gatlinburg). The breakfast buffet was super delicious. They had a pianist playing every morning which was super cool too! The pool was fun for the teenagers I had with me just to chill out at the end of the night. Every staff member I talked to was so friendly.

When you show up, they give you verbal and written instructions to go by when it comes to your vehicle.. understandably so, bears are extremely common in Gatlinburg. We followed the instructions to a T. Woke up the next morning to our back right Jeep window ripped off of our vehicle. (Soft top) At first glance, you immediately think bear.. why wouldn’t you? But upon further examination, we realized it had to be a human. No claw marks/scratches ANYWHERE. The back window was unlatched properly as well.. a bear couldn’t do that. We went to management and explained.. we said we know that what happens in the parking lot isn’t their liability, but asked if they could look at the cameras and confirm it was a human so we could file a report..here’s where it got bad. They laughed in our faces..told us they aren’t allowed to watch the footage and that it was definitely a bear, “happens all the time.” Here’s what I think.. I think people are aware they can break into people’s car at this hotel because it’s dark, secluded, not many cameras, and they know everyone will chalk to up to a “bear” No one wants to sit there for 2 hours talking to police and filing a report while on vacation, especially on a child’s birthday, believing it was a bear is the easier choice. I believe bears do break into vehicles here, but ours wasn’t that and management was rude. JEEPS W/ SOFT TOP, stay safe and stay away.

This was a peaceful retreat from all the hustle and bustle of downtown and the views from the balcony were great . You are overlooking one of the biggest mountains there. Also I loved that they had young gentlemen playing piano on Saturday morning! It really filled hotel with so much joy . You could have breakfast downstairs with live music. He was excellent ! Also room service if you dont want to fight for any reservations anywhere else. This place is a gem. Highly recommend!

We had a room overlooking Gatlinberg , you could see whole town. Lots of great places to eat at . We tried quite a few ! Spent the first evening exploring gatlinberg lots of shopping and fun things to do . We enjoyed our stay a lot and will come back again as there is a lot to see . Fairly close to Dollywood . We went to the Hatfield and McCoy dinner theatre it has little to do with the history of which we were disappointed and we felt it was just another dinner show we said we sure wouldn’t go again . Dollywood is very hilly and we went on the hottest day of the year and it was 100 degrees and 90% humidity . We spent a fortune in water bottles and we left at 5:30 because of the weather and they closed the park early and the people that stayed got flooded out with 3 to 4 feet on water in parking lots . People had to be rescued and they stopped the trams and some had to walk a long ways back to there cars

The location of the hotel is beautiful however it’s very outdated. The rooms were very outdated with old furniture and old carpet and had a moldy smell in the room.

Loved being away from the busy of downtown. The rooms were fine but loved having the bar/restaurant on the hotel grounds in addition to the coffe bar.
