Spark by Hilton Galveston

The stay war on for less than 24 hours. This establishment wouldn't be my 1st, 2nd or 5th chose if I would need a longer stay. Or room had a diet towel, and used toilet tissue roll on the floor pushed to the back of wall. The hot tub was hot but not really clean. There was unusual order lingering on the 1st floor. Smell of a combination of urine and something.

No buffet like advertised.

The property is on Seawall Blvd.

The rooms were old and outdated. The breakfast was minimal, cereal and muffins. One elevator was out of service.

The staff was very nice. Everything else was very disappointing. It was obvious they were remodeling which was fine, however, the floor in our room had a slope. We could feel the dip when we walked across. There was obvious water damage on the walls. I'm pretty sure I saw mold in the bathroom. One elevator was down and another guest told us they locked the stairwell.

My only issue is that I called before booking to ensure that the elevators worked and nothing was being renovated. I was told the elevators worked. This was the major point for me as I have a knee injury I did not want to be stuck taking stairs, otherwise I would have asked for a ground floor room. I was pretty surprised when I checked in on the 3rd floor and noticed a 2nd elevator that was out of order directly across from our room. Since we checked in on a Saturday, the hotel was FULL and we're all having to wait on one elevator. No, I did not complain or asked to have my room moved as it appeared to be to capacity, but the fact that I called to specifically ask... If they had been up front with me I would have noted or asked during check-in to put me on the first floor.

South Shore Harbour is one of the best Hotels to stay at when in the League City Galveston area. The Cleanliness and friendly staff is Top Tier.

NOTHING We had originally booked a one night stay at this hotel for August 16, 2026. We decided to add another night so I called booking.com and the agent that I spoke with was very accommodating and was able to get another night added to our reservation for check in to be on August 14, 2026 and check out to be on August 17, 2026. We received a new confirmation from booking.com. When we arrived at the hotel on August 15, 2026, we were told that we did not have a reservation for that night that it was for August 16, 2026 for one night. I showed the desk clerk the confirmation I received from booking.com and he said that it didn't matter. So we ended up having to pay $294 for the added night. We were not happy about this AT ALL!! booking.com failed us immensely!! I feel that booking.com should reimburse us at least $200 of the $294. Probably won't use booking.com again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Close to the beach. Cold ac Breakfast was eh ok. Was expecting better choices than just Continental. No decaf coffee.

Didnt clean room or bring us towels thank goodness i bought my own other than that it was ok

Clean, great location to the bea h even though we only stayed one day, really less than 12 hpurs. Safe, convenient and in good location to the cruise terminal which is what we needed.

Location was great! Good option for the night before a cruise. Parking okay.

Very nice aesthetic I did not like that. It was in front of smoke shop and it wasn’t that clean in the elevator/hallways and the elevator on one side was broken and the other one seemed like it was about to break.
