Great location. The front desk was super nice. Old property that’s been renovated . It’s cute it’s decent for the price and pool is fun to hang out with . The bartenders were cool Garret and Rachel. The free breakfast is decent . If you’re considering this hotel, I encourage you to book it.

The only complaint we had was the lady staying in 161 smoked non-stop. She was right in front of the entrance to the pool. We had to pass her on the way to the ice machine and any time we walked down the hallway to head to the beach. I wish they would make the hallway nonsmoking. Again, it was just one woman but she literally lit one cigarette after another. The pool was nice. The location was great. We would definitely stay there again.

It's clear that everything is old, I wish the floor was cleaner. Overall, the layout is not bad for the hotel, it's just a bit outdated. Convenient access to the beach

Location, location location. This is not the Ritz. Gaidos is a 3 star hotel physically but with a great ocean view and great staff at a 3 star price. The building is in good shape for it's age but definitely old. Our room was clean and bed and furniture in good shape. Spots of water damage here and there which seemed fairly common in other buisnesses we went to. The pool area was very nice and is connected to the restaurant next door. The front counter workers and breakfast ladies were very warm and hospitable.

It is an old hotel but has been updated and the rooms are very clean. Beds are very comfortable and rooms were nice and cold!! (It's very hot out!!). Breakfast was good every morning. Staff was very nice and helpful. Swimming pool and hot tub worked well and was clean as could be with all the people and smoking area in pool/bar. Smoking area right outside your rooms is a major plus for this smoker. Two restaurants attached to hotel with good food and drinks. Small coffee pot and coffee in room, mini fridge and microwave. We stayed in the family room - plenty of room except only 1 bathroom, but toilet and shower behind closed door and vanity/sink separate. Beach was right across the street, and we just walked over to it; rented chairs and umbrella - life was good. I would definitely stay here again.

Location to the beach Hotel Review As someone with 30 years in the hospitality industry, much of that time working in hotels, I try to look at a property through both a guest’s eyes and a hospitality professional’s perspective. Overall, the property was okay, especially considering it is a non-branded hotel that experiences heavy beach traffic. However, I was extremely disappointed to find mold throughout the room. I once managed a property in England where we dealt with continuous rain and the challenges that came with it. At one point, senior management made the decision that we needed an aggressive, property-wide mold remediation plan. It took hours of work, significant resources, and a financial investment. We tackled the rooms one at a time during the off-season and invested heavily in training our housekeeping and maintenance teams. Why? Because a clean, safe, and healthy guest room isn't optional—it’s the foundation of hospitality. Unfortunately, the condition of this room showed me the opposite. It honestly pains me to post a review like this because I know how hard hotel teams work, and I understand the challenges they face. But I also believe in being honest. When it’s good, I’ll scream it from the rooftops. When it’s not, I have to say that too. I sincerely hope management takes this as an opportunity to address the issue, because the property has potential.

The property is beautifully manicured with lovely tropical plants & we were right across the road from the gulf! Just perfect! Nothing, it’s gorgeous!

Excellent location, great room for the value! Enjoyed Gaidos seafood restaurant! Staff was amazing from check in/out and the breakfast crew. Will definitely return. The breakfast choices- but for the number of customers i understand.
