The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We also had an excellent experience at the Italian restaurant—the food and service were both great—and we really enjoyed breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere was a major disappointment. The smell of marijuana was extremely strong and constant throughout the property, including the balconies, common areas, near the beach, and even the ground-floor entrance to the elevators. That entrance area was dark, very hot, and not welcoming at all. It felt more like walking through a subway passage than entering a beachfront resort. The exterior hallways outside the rooms were also extremely hot, especially near the elevators, where the hot air from the air-conditioning units seemed to collect. There are also additional daily fees added to the room rate, so the final cost is higher than it initially appears. Overall, the location is excellent, the views are beautiful, and we received good service in several areas. However, the constant marijuana smell, the atmosphere, and some of the common areas made the experience much less appealing than the photos suggest.

Everything else, and I literally mean EVERYTHING, was exceptional! I enjoyed every minute, from the check-in process to the check-out process. I will definitely return!

Beautiful views right on the Gulf, great bars. Food at restaurants does leave something to be desired

Unfortunately, my stay at the Danny Kaye Hotel was disappointing. The parking situation was terrible, the hotel was not very clean, and the rooms were poorly maintained and not properly equipped. There was also very little entertainment or anything to do at the hotel. Overall, I expected a much better experience and would not recommend this hotel.

Property was in a good location. The beach was nice. The hotel held very strict rules presumably controlling spring break.
-
Place was very clean, staff helpful. Nice having beach bars and rooftop. We will be back.

This place can be loud, as there is music playing till 10 pm and sometimes they have bands. I got to my room and smelled weed coming from the connecting room. Also, the music was so loud from down below. The front desk was helpful in trying to get me another room. It was a little difficult because I booked the room through Expedia.

Just amazing property is clean while maintained the staff is wonderful and attentive I try to go there three or four times a year for a long weekend as I live on the other coast. When I arrive I don't even use my car and just keep it parked on their safe lot. This hotel has everything to offer... excellent restaurant upstairs and nice places to eat downstairs. ( Bars too if that's what like) . It has a nice clean pool and has the best location on Fort Myers Beach in my opinion as it's close to everything.! I love this amazing property and just checked out this morning and will go back at least once more this year!!! PS. It's priced right too ! PSS. It's directly on the beach too ! PSSS Once you stay there, you'll return and stay there again and again !!!

Loved that it is beachfront. The staff were all really nice and attentive. The best restaurant is Grace’ Trattoria. The others were ok. The Sundeck rooftop was great to watch the sunset don’t expect much from the food there… breakfast was not good and overpriced. In Expedia said that beach sunchairs and umbrellas were complementary. THEY were NOT. Not sure why the Hotel lets boats to dock so close to the shore. They ruin the experience for the hotel guest. The water is full of boat oil.
