Birch Patio Motel

We arrive at Birch Patio at 4:45pm on July 4th. The check in was quick and the staff was very friendly. When entering the room I was impressed with the size and how clean it was. I didn’t realize there would be maid service every day to bring clean towels for bathing and kitchen area. She also removed all garbage and empty bottles every day. She also swept and mopped the floors every day. My husband and I walked to the beach every morning to set up our beach chairs for the day. It is a short walk to the beach maybe 3 to 4 minutes depending on how fast you walk. We walked back to the room for lunch then back to the beach in the afternoon. I was glad to find they had beach chairs to use. We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed every minute. I wish we would have used the pool areas a little more. Next time we will. We can’t wait to go back next year. If I could give this property more than a five rating I would. The location was perfect for us, it was nice and quiet. The pictures were taken from our balcony and the other two were from our walks. If I have to think of a negative I guess it would be that I was surprised that there was no Kleenex boxes, but the toilet paper was stocked every day as well so it wasn’t a problem. I would have bought a box but kept forgetting every time I went to the store.

Location, pool, my 1st floor room. Things are kind of old but everything worked and was clean. The tv signal was lacking a bit.

Front window blind didn't work properly, but finally got it to close. Some of the places to eat can be pricey in the area.

The room was within walking distance to the beach. The room is roomy, clean and well stocked with kitchenware if cooking . There is a great little breakfast place and neighborhood store two blocks away. We loved the the pool option, since the ocean had red and purple flags during our stay. Was quite, peaceful, and laid back. Owners have several properties beside each other which was nice we could find which pool had kids so my little could be around others. The washer and dryer were well maintained and easy to use. Can buy detergent pods in the office. My family slept well. The bed was a tad firm for my body but I snoozed. After the initial SANFU of being told I was assigned to another property, called Ms. Angela and she cleared it up promtly and assigned me to the right hotel. The customer service was top-notch so really wasn't a dislike just stressed me out for the first few minutes until so.

It was clean, comfortable, and just blocks from the beach.

I like the location, very quiet and peaceful.. Nothing

The staff was very nice, the lady let us stay 1 hour after check out, to dry out (we got soaking wet in out way back to the motel before checkout), it had everything we needed.

Very friendly. Gave me a late checkout time, because I had a fishing trip in the morning and needed to come back to take a shower.

Location. Good communication with Angela. Free parking. Internet reception was very weak and slow on room 219. No good isolation so you hear your neighbor. Old shower.

Location was close to the beach and a few cafe restaurants. The room was perfect for a beach weekend getaway. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was nice.

It was great all the way around and the ladies at the desk were EXTREMELY NICE There wasn't anything that I did not like

The location was excellent, the room was big, comfortable, and clean, and the staff was very hospitable and friendly. You can't beat the value for the price. We are very happy with our stay and will definitely stay there again. A big thanks to Angela whose family owns the property, she was wonderful to us!
