Amelia Hotel at the Beach

Beautiful clean polished room, shining lit pool took us to the 90s nostalgia immediately. Impressed by the amenities of the rooms and how good the complimentary breakfast was.

The hotel had a very foul smell of skunk weed in hallway. It was very bad! Amenities were okay and service was good. The continental breakfast was good. Overall stay was average.

This is the best little hidden gem in Amelia Island.

Everything about our stay was better than expected. Staff, amenities, cleanliness, breakfast, convenience, and price were all above expectation. We loved proximity to the beach.

The bed was comfortable. Didn't make it to breakfaat. Parking was $15, crazy to pay for parking in a suburban area like Fernandina Beach. Added more than 20% to the cost of the room. Think we'll stick to Hampton Inn, better value and not like a college dorm.

It is a great location and people that work there are very nice. Love my stay there. Close to everything and the beach and ocean. Be back next year for sure. Thank you very much.

The location was great, near the beach and a couple of restaurants. Cleanliness was ok, towels could use replacements.

While the hotel was clean, many repairs are needed: peeling paint, rusty shower parts, clogged toilet. The front desk advertises beach chair and umbrella rentals but guests have to carry them to the beach and set them up on their own. Also, the lounge chairs advertised are not what you actually get. What you do get is a low seated beach chair that looked old and dirty. Our toilet got clogged one day and we called the front desk and were told to come down and get a plunger. When asked if the plunger could be brought to our room, we were told that they don’t do deliveries. When we asked for someone to come check the toilet, we were told there was no one available. I was disappointed with my stay as I don’t feel it aligned at all with the recent reviews that I read on Expedia.

Some repair at the entrance was unsightly.

I have stayed there many times. During the check in process I was notified that there would be a 15$ a day parking no mention of this while I was booking the room. I don’t like surprises. Also the person on day shift at the front deck was rude and not very helpful. Don’t think I will be back!

Helping us with last minute uber cancelation was grateful Have juices available all day long.

Facility needs some updating but it appears there might be a little of that going on based off the dumpster located near one of the doors.

Clean room and comfortable beds that was very good location

The room was clean and comfortable. You can't be much closer to the beach. The people were pleasant and the prices were very fair. Not a fan of paying for parking (new since my last stay but what can you do?)

Great location across from the beach and a restaurant with good food, and live music. Hotel was very well run, clean with good breakfast and friendly staff. The pool was clean, and functional. The chairs could use replacement. Really enjoyed my stay! I didn’t realize parking was an additional charge.

Location is great - right across a street to the beach at a roundabout - so easy - steps away from the sand! Nice breakfast - everything but waffles or pancakes - perfectly happy with it! Quality items! We stayed in the signature room - not luxurious, but a good size with everything you need…bathroom was large and comfortable…balcony was very small, but you could stand and see a part of the ocean ( building directly across the street blocking alot of the ocean view) . The building definitely needs updating , but it is well kept. We did not partake of the pool, so can’t comment on that. Restaurant directly across the street ( Sliders) is fun and has yummy food!

We loved our time at this hotel. The location was perfect. It is like a central hub for all the other fun things to do around the area and the best part is that we could just go across the street and be at the beach which was super convenient. We are now planning to go back because it is a favorite spot to visit.
