Dated, but clean and everything worked Staff were really helpful.

Ice was available, in room fridge not available. Staff was very helpful and gave extra effort to assist us, I am handicapped and they noticed. Food was well-prepared.

The property was beautiful but the cabin we stayed in had some issues that need to be corrected. I gave a list to the office when checking out so hopefully they will make those corrections.

Maintenance unable to unlock. Stood outside for more than two hours while maintenance trying to figure out what to do. Young lady at registration desk decided to bring down a battery charger for door and voila ! Door opened but didn’t want to leave charger in all night so could not leave room again. We’re told we would have to pack up and move to another room in the morning. Decided to check out instead. Very very disappointed.

We love staying at rough river lodge. I wish they had small refrigerators in each room but other than that we love everything the lodge has to offer.

Great place to stay even if you don't plan on using the facilities there. The breakfast buffet is great, and reasonably priced. It's an actual restaurant, not just a hotel breakfast.

We love our stay it was clean in the beds was nice they make you feel at home. The pool was fun and clean. There’s a lot to do bunch of activities.

My son and I went for 2 days. The rooms were clean, the property was well maintained. The pool looked nice, but we did not use it. There was a lot of activities on the property.

The staff was very nice.. our room was covered in spider webs and giant wolf spiders. The phone didnt work to call front desk. We asked to switch rooms which they accommodated quickly. That room had even more spiders and large webs..

Only problem was room was dark, only one lamp in room

We went on Easter, and missed that the restaurant would be closed while we were there. Other than not having dinner, the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The views and hiking trails were very nice. I look forward to going back in the future.

All of the KyY State Parks are a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff is super nice. The restaurant offered delicious buffets and off the menu meals. Lots of opportunities to hike, see the sites. There are local restaurants, amenities and seasonal opportunities. Overall a great experience.
