Good place to stay

The rooms could use some updating and more comfortable mattresses

Location was ideal to where I was going. On the outside it looked a bit rustic old the inside was really pretty and very modern. Bed was soft, place was clean, really happy with this stay. The place is a little bit like a labyrinth, but it didn't bother me too much once I found my room and saw that there were doors to the parking lot nearby. Other than that it was a really nice stay.

I had an extremely bad experience at this Courtyard, the way I was treated by the Operations Mgr, was embarrassing & unacceptable. I was staying at the hotel with my family. I had reserved and paid for two rooms for my family. I asked for breakfast charged to my room; this is a normal when staying at a hotel. She came to our table & insisted that I pay now because the incidentals autho didn't cover the tab. I want to be very clear: I had the money to pay the bill. The issue was how I was treated. I was approached at my table in front of my family and other guests and made to feel that I was not able to pay. I was embarrassed & so upset that I couldn't finish eating. I was at the counter paying the bill, my son noticed her supervisor. I explained to him what had happened. During my conversation with him, she interjected & denied everything. My son came up to say that it did happen. The supervisor removed the charges. The money was not the issue. The issue was the embarrassment & the lack of courtesy shown to me. What is the purpose to charge a room if we can be interrupted & asked to pay now, I do travel for business. I will reconsider using Courtyard. Guests should be treated with respect especially when there is no reason to believe they will not pay. This experience left a very bad impression and completely overshadowed what should have been a pleasant breakfast with my family.

It is clean hotel with friendly staff. I hadn’t have breakfast and I did not park car; so I have no comment on that.
