The only issue I had was operating the thermostat. It was difficult to find and maintain the temperature of the room

Great stay

I stay at a lot of hotels. This was my first stay at the Archer Hotel in the Mosaic District, and I was impressed. I loved the location, the engaged and friendly staff, and the complimentary breakfast. However, there was one significant caveat to what was an otherwise great stay: My room smelled, and not in a good way. I arrived on Sunday night after a 5-hour flight delay and was too exhausted to switch rooms that night. The next day I spent most of the day at Fairfax Inova where my newborn grandson was in the NICU. I never got around asking for my room to be changed, but every time I walked into it I was hit by the smell. I finally figured out what it smelled like: wet doggie. I think it's great that the hotel allows furry friends, BUT they need to thoroughly deodorize after a pet guest or make some of their rooms pet-free. I liked this hotel and would stay again. But next time I will be sure to request that my room has not had a recent furry occupant.

When we checked into the room there was a strong Smell of cigar inside. We were so tried, we didn't bother complaint.

Archer House Falls Church is a beautiful property. Excellent customer service. The bar/lounge area was an unexpected delight - yummy Happy hour food! We definitely look forward to staying here again!

Amazing and super healthy breakfast, quality dinner options, and rooms are huge and very nice. Walkable to lots of shopping options.

The Archer hotel is beautiful! Everything about the hotel emanates the high quality of the lobby, rooms, breakfast, and staff. We had a wonderful stay in a fantastic location!

Hotel was fine but don’t let them give you Room 202. HVAC just outside window and runs all day and night

The free breakfast was actually delicious with nice, fresh options. The staff was accommodating as we extended our stay and needed plumbing services. They were fast and efficient. Also has secured parking right next to the hotel. Location was great, right in a plaza with amazing stores- Blue Mercury, Anthropologie, Target- and restaurants. Also near several highways- close to DC, Tyson corner Mall, etc… would recommend to everyone

Immaculate, comfortable room and convenient parking

I stayed in this property on the way from NYC to Blacksburg VA. Hotel is in good shape, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was standard “included” one, nothing fancy but good enough. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Walkable to so many great restaurants and stores in the Mosaic District. Also a short drive to the metro station for access to everything in the DC area.

I had read great reviews but I was still pleasantly surprised by how excellent our entire stay was … Loved everything about the hotel
