Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Harborcreek

Biggest issue was the fact that until I went to go to my assigned my room I didn't realize that it was on the second floor and there was no elevator. I was not told this or asked at check in if this was ok. I had my mother with me who has a lot of difficulty with stairs so this had a big impact on her overall enjoyment of our trip. Sure, she made it up the stairs ok but once there her ability of being able to use the pool or be able to go to and from the hotel during our stay was greatly impacted. I realize I should have gone to the front desk and asked them if a first floor room was available but my mother was stubborn and insisted she was fine but clearly through the days there she was not. My mother never misses a chance to go swimming but if she had chosen to do that it would have meant extra trips up and down the stairs that she was not physically up to. My strongest recommendation would be that guests be informed at reservation or at least check in about the stairs and not only asked their preference but that the first floor be prioritized for guests with physical limitations.

I came in stayed for 4 days to visit kids and grandkids on 3rd day grandkids came to visit me hotel made me purchase a second room so kids could swim for a hour

Well kept property. Good sized rooms. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Small breakfast buffet area, but good food. Good experience overall.

Staff was fine. The room smelled and felt like it had a lot of moisture in it. Smell like a pool without the chlorine. Tried to get smell out by keeping door open but didn’t work. Hall didn’t smell that way. I’ve stayed in the other Cobblestone in Erie. Thought it was better. Probably won’t stay here again.

Breakfast, and the quietness. Trash all over at back entrance, people smoking weed out back entrance by air conditioning which was sucking into the hotel.

Pretty sure a staff member spent $216 on my debit card

The gentleman at the Desk that greeted us was very friendly and helpful. Check-in process went very quickly. Our room was clean and the air conditioner was on so the room was just the right temperature. The breakfast in the morning was adequate and we had a great night sleep.

Overall it’s a small but friendly place. Rooms were a really good size, and the stairs to the second floor aren’t that bad. We had a good stay, it served its purpose for us. I would stay again.

I liked that the hotel was smaller in size. My kids and I had the pool to ourselves every evening. The breakfast was really good and we didn't have to wait in any lines.
