The location is beautiful very calm and quiet in the grounds of The Crichton. Rooms comfortable with great beds and fab bedding. Showers powerful and large with a small step up. Food in hotel was good too and staff most helpful. Leaving

We stayed in an executive room which was very comfortable and clean. Staff were all friendly. Breakfast was good. Our hand soap was empty on arrival so asked for that to be filled and for an extra pillow. Both were sorted out quickly. A lovely central location and stunning grounds to go for an early morning walk. Thoroughly recommend. We have no complaints

Its location. Just a mile from the centre of town. Hotel looked onto the Crichton church which was lovely Shampoo, conditioner and soap bottles were empty. The person at reception did not have the best knowledge of the English language. Not great for from of house and asking for information

Character, style, location all good The rooms are very dated, the bed was awful, the base of bed creaked with every move, the mattress sinked. Poor bed and poor sleep.

Nice location, good food, pretty handy overnight charging, rooms nice. Great park area to walk around. Beautiful curtains, nice wall treatment, terrible worn smuffy carpet.
