The hotel is in a great location. Lakefront and walking distance from restaurants like Pickwick and Alto Pino, which I highly recommend BTW. Right on the Canal Park arwa. Fifteen minutes walk to the Aquarium and Bayfront Park. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and updated , staff is helpful. I have one suggestion though. It would be nice to add Adirondack chairs to watch sunrise and ro relax in the evening.

Wonderful location. Close to everything. The lady who helped me check in was sweet and helpful. Walkable to restaurants, breweries, shops, the lighthouse. Would stay again if not everyone I am in Duluth.

Location was perfect could walk to most things for sightseeing including shipping and restaurants! Bonus right on Lake Superior for an amazing view everyday!

We spent one night in the Family suite with our 5 grandchildren - so nice to have our own separate bedroom with a TV. (Pricey, though!) The balcony was enjoyed by us with a beautiful view of Lake Superior and easy access to the lake walkway. Kids loved the pool and hot tubs. Nice breakfast room with the usual waffles, eggs, etc. Coffee machine, fridge and microwave in our room. We were next to the canal and lift bridge and walking distance to restaurants and shops (Coldstone Creamery and Caribou Coffee also) Kids had a ball with the 2 and 4 person carriage bike (with grandpa, of course). Kids also liked the William A. Irvine Ship Museum - easy walking distance and recommended. We like to stay here every time we go to Duluth.

Enjoyed our stay. Only complaint was the ramp for taking the luggage cart to the car. Hard to maneuver the corner. All in all we had a good experience with our stay.

We made the reservation for a room with a fireplace, but when we arrived were told there were non available. Everything else was very good.

$300 plus room should have been extremely over the top for a room in Duluth

As always our stay was great! The suites Lake side have a glorious view at any time of the day. Comfortable bed in a CLEAN room.

The room we bought on Expedia was not the room we were given. Apparently there are 2 room layouts for the King Executive Suite. The one shown on Expedia has the king bed in a separate room and that’s not what we were given. Also there were bugs in our room, weevils I think. The main desk staff offered to switch us to a double queen room but didn’t offer room service or to even come down to investigate. We chose to stick it out given the other options but the manager compensated us well at the end of our trip for these issues. Even with that I would not stay here again.
