Hampton Inn Columbus/Dublin

The room was clean but the floors were so slippery that I nearly fell everyone I stepped on the tile floors upon entry into the room or using the bathroom. Very disappointing The bed looked comfortable but when trying to sleep I felt like a was rolling into the middle of the mattress which tells me the mattress is very old.

Perfect. Just what I needed for the week. Coffee is always fresh too, plus for me. 😊

Air conditioner was super noisy/ rattled, couldn’t keep up with humidity. Drawers that stuck. Carpeting seemed sticky, bad pillows General cleaning: crumbs in elevator, and next day still in the corner. Central hallway swept but dirt/ dust along baseboards very evident. Damage to outside overhang…looked like a too tall truck took it out. Breakfast area seating definitely needs a refresh! Cushions are awful! Good: I was able to pick up clean towels at the front desk. One of the maids, when asked made a special trip to clean up a mess. Otis Spunkmeyer cookies! Yum! Good to go bag for early departures. Breakfast was pretty good, however 1 day the attendant refilled the empty eggs by just bringing in a bag of premade scrambled eggs and dumping it in the warmer. Another day someone different was a little more discreet: taking the dish back into the kitchen to refill the eggs, and bringing it back out to the serving warmer. Front desk people were very helpful.

Great location, warm breakfast, quite, & fully staffed. The choose your room & digital key/TV controller options through the app were awesome. Room was clean. Worst bed i have ever slept in. It felt like I was sleeping on a concrete slab. I woke up with so much back pain, I considered not staying the second night because I dreaded sleeping on it again. The pool & gym are very small.

The breakfast was not very good. Cold, undercooked, bland.
