One of the beds had such a deep divot that it was uncomfortable to sleep in.

There apparently is no AC. It was cool enough that we could sleep with the window open. There were two rotating fans in the room - one was attached to the wall and the other on top of the clothes rack. The white fan blades were disgusting. I wouldn't have used it if it was hot. The parking is insufficient for the number of rooms they have. The back lot has potholes so be cautious when you walk. The "overflow" lot is in the front of the building in front of the stores. There are potholes. The spaces are on an angle (maybe 30 degrees). The office staff was ok. I thought I would need to wash clothes, so I had to buy $10 in quarters from the office. Once I checked, I didn't need to after all. I went back to the office & asked to exchange the coins for a $10 bill. The girl said she couldn't only her boss could, because of the way the transaction was entered (their system, I guess). I asked when her boss would be in & she said the next day. I went back the next morning & asked if the woman who did the transaction was in & she informed me that she won't be until the afternoon. I went into a shop to purchase an item & I asked the clerk if they could give me a $10 bill for the coins and she was able to. It wasn't a big deal. There are a lot of rules, which I didn't have a problem with, but they need to work on customer relations.

Clean and roomy rooms,

We were a bit concerned when we arrived but.....the room was a nice surprise after we saw the outside facilities and went through the check in process with an unfriendly staff. The room was clean, nicely decorated and large. There is NO elevator so it was noisy when people were going up the steps and banging their luggage on each step. The location is the best you are going to get, thus the reason we chose this motel. Parking is limited. The place is expensive for what is included but it seems to be in line with pricing for places near Denali National Park. Denali is remote and places to stay near Denali are limited, so supply and demand make for expensive prices. The pictures make the area around the motel look nicer than it is. We stayed 2 nights. You could do Denali in one or two days and only stay night.

The mattress for the bed was terrible. The coffee maker was hard to work. Very few TV stations.

Jace was very helpful and outstanding. He met us at train depot and helped with logistics for our short visit. Convenient access and availability for activities, food amd gifts
-
Pick up by Jace at train station. Lots of restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of their little cabins. It was perfect free shuttle to Denali. The only complaint I have is the soap in the shower was weak. Jace was a great shuttle driver! Full of very good information.

Nice clean property - very convenient to go to Denali. Readily Accessible to nice restaurants and shops.

It was so cute and on the board walk
-
I will stay there again my next time in Denali.

Everything was easy! Their shuttle took me from and to the train station. A short walk across the street was another free shuttle to and from the Denali Visitor Center. Motel is located on the boardwalk with several restaurants and gift shops. Room was clean.

The property seems brand new and very clean, also well equiped with the kitchen which makes staying here pretty easy when you want to cook something simple. The only thing I did not like is its surrounding environtment. It is located in an environment which made me feel dusty and dirty. The roads are very bad. Good thing is it is located only a few minutes from the Denali National Park. I should give 5 stars for the property itself and location, but 1 star for its surroungind environtments.

Shower curtain moldy. Bath towels had a stench. No headboard on bed or closet. You are paying for location and that is about it.

A great stay: clean, comfortable, and walking distance to food, shops, and attractions. The owners are responsive and allowed us to leave our rental car in lot while we were on a jeep tour. Loved the view of the mountains outside our window!

Everything was clean and well maintained. The stairs very steep and no elevator

Perfect location!

Good location, room was clean. Shower was hot, good water pressure. Coffee pot with Kcups in the room was nice. Bed was ok, pillows were awful! Asked for 2 extra pillows, only brought us one and that pillow was awful too. Would have had a much better experience if they invested in better pillows.

Room was clean bigger on inside than what it looks like out side , it was not what we thought it was but it worked well and was clean

Room was good for our one-night stay.
