Hawaiian Inn Beach Resort

Always a good time at the Hawaiian Inn. With the olympic size pool, heated pool, Tiki Bar, and awesome beach.

We were given room 401 when we walked in there was a box fan running and a small ac unit on the floor. The room was humid. Within seconds my toddler slipped and hit his head on a film of something that was on the floor while simply walking across the room. The paint was coming off the walls and the Murphy bed had rodent feces behind it. My husband went down stairs to ask what could be done and we were given the key to 408. Somehow it was worse. It smelled even worse was humid and we didn’t look much further. We ended up grabbing our things and leaving. Once downstairs the employee didn’t even seem surprised she just said “contact the booking site for a refund”. This just tells me this kind of thing happens a lot. We stayed two hotels over and walked on the beach you could see visible mold on the building from the beach. They really need a HUGE renovation the place has potential.

Great hotel, large property & beach on the ocean. Big pool. All rooms face the ocean. The staff were extremely nice too. I'll go again.

The pool and the tiki bar! The A/C wasn’t working like it should. The room could have been cleaned better it really needs to be dusted. Staff was very accommodating and tried their best to make it a great stay.

The room we were in the ac wasn’t working-it was very hot. Called the front desk and they said they only had one air handler working. Never offered to move us to another room. Very disappointed!!

Location I had to supply my own EVERYTHING in the room. Soap sponge paper towels coffee filters

We have been coming to this hotel last 12 years This time staff on duty at check in was very rude I rented two rooms, first room was ocean front had asked for first floor when reserved. Didn’t happen ended upon 5th floor. Second room for my son and family was city view which I knew but it had mildew smell, moldy on beds. Yes they did switch them rooms but they had to deal with a1 bed instead of 2 Check-in staff on Friday was very rude My sons room, but did swap as I explained Not to our expectations down to 1 bed for a family of 4

The staff was awful and definitely need some training on customer service. The room we stayed in was just ok nothing to brag about I wasn’t happy there was no closet or dresser in our room. I would never stay here again. I will say our friends had a great room with no complaints these rooms are privately owned and rented out so you never know what you’re going to get.

Location, Price?, Very Old and needs a lot of updates. Room wasn’t clean properly, sand everywhere and a lot of Mold everywhere.

Rooms were old and not taking care of. They were trying to keep it clean but. Loved the pump cold water into pool so it was refreshing. And they did keep the pool very clean. Pool was probably best park of stay. But would not return to this property for another get away.

Exceptional

Great location and the pool and deck were clean. The bar had great food and the front desk folks were great. The room was a little dated, but not bad. The a/c worked great. Overall, we had a great stay!
