The hotel was nice overall rooms could use some maintenance and better up keep.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. The customer service is terrible; they didn’t treat me like a paying customer. Every time I had a question, I was treated like I was supposed to already know. I paid for the breakfast package and was told they don’t accept that, so it was a waste of money and a false advertisement. I will have to dispute it with my bank. I had to pay 50 dollars for breakfast for one person. When you check in, they don’t give you any information on the hotel amenities, such as their locations and times they close. The parking is 60 dollars a night. All this would not be bad if it were worth the money. The hotel needs to be updated; the hotel smells, and everything is literally falling apart. The carpets are so old and dirty; the bathroom wasn’t even clean. I will never return to this hotel for a stay.Bed but eggs in blankets

The room wasn't cleaned, there was hair in the tub and HVAC wasn't working, then we were switched to a smaller room. After going downstairs to sort it out we noticed they pulled my vehicle for someone else to drive. After expressing my concern they did not understand my frustration. After that we were place in a suite, that had a roach in it

Very nice, the restaurant was amazing and the pool was very nice. Overall comfortable

On the day I arrived, I was given a room, but when I opened the door, I found it had already been used; I had to go to the secretaries and ask for another room.

Wonderful experience, beautiful hotel, well maintained…spacious room, great view, very pleasant and welcoming staff. Enjoyed rooftop lounge and Overeasy restaurant.

Overall the hotel was great from the staff to the room. One thing I did notice was the head boards had stains as the material is fabric.

The property was really nice! Loved the room, just a bit smelly and didn’t have trash bags but was quickly assisted when asked! Other than that, it was a nice stay and felt “luxe” without the price.

This is a very beautiful hotel right downtown Dallas. The rooftop pool is absolutely amazing. They have plenty of cabanas lots of shade. There is a rooftop bar. There is a delicious restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. I’m not sure about dinner. From the valet everyone there is extremely friendly and very prompt. I would highly recommend this hotel absolutely beautiful. They took the time to go over the artwork and the history over this hotel. fun fact Tina Turner stayed there we will be returning.

Disappointing

Unfortunately, the maintenance employee arrived without the necessary tools to resolve the issue and had to leave to retrieve them. The problem was eventually resolved approximately 20 minutes later, but the entire situation caused us to get on the road nearly two hours later than we had planned, which significantly impacted our travel plans. While I completely understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, what was most disappointing was the lack of urgency and communication in addressing the situation. At a luxury establishment, I expected a much higher level of responsiveness and guest service, especially when dealing with a non-functioning shower and an unusable toilet.

My husband booked us this hotel for our anniversary and we should have did more research. The main appeal of this hotel was the rooftop pool. We checked in and headed up to waterfront where the rooftop pool was only to be told there is an event taking place and it doesn’t open to the public until 5. We ended up going to Scouts that was in the hotel to get a bite to eat. We waited 5 or so minutes until my husband finally got up to find someone. They gave him a menu and we waited another 10 for someone to wait on us while employees were just talking at the bar. We finally just got up and left. We went back up to waterfront only to be told there was another event taking place and we had to pay $30 to get in. There were so many people and blaring music, so much for a relaxing romantic night. The same for the 3rd floor pool. We went back up to our room which was right beside the 3rd floor pool and quickly realized we were not going to be getting any sleep for the night. We called the front desk telling them we wanted a refund and spoke with Emma who informed us we could call hotels.com who we booked with and have them call them to approve a refund. We were then told by hotels.com the hotel denied a refund. We then just packed up and went home. Paid good money to be a guest and be able to use the amenities and was unable to do so. Horrible service all the way around and ruined our special night. Valet was great that’s the only positive. Heed our advice and stay somewhere else.
