The property was labeled resort - however, that is misleading, it is not resort style- it is small, rooms are dated-only offering double beds or king, and have an odor, the pool is not large enough for all guests, - there are two pools (one lap pool with no chairs or lounge seating), and the Bar pool, which had long lines to wait in to get a drink, and all chairs in pool area were taken unless you got out there early in am. We booked a spa day during our visit- the spa is lacking private pool/hot tub, and relaxation area- for the price they charge -it is was not worth it.

I live locally in San Diego. I enjoy traveling, so I have quite a bit to compare it to. You can enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the hotel, but surprisingly, there isn't even a comfortable seating area where guests can sit and enjoy it. What disappointed me the most was the management and the overall approach to the guest experience. There were many additional fees, rules and restrictions, and some of them did not seem to make much sense. The hotel is already expensive, yet it often felt like there was an additional charge or commercial opportunity around almost everything. Disappointing experiences for me.

Staff are helpful and friendly room smells like humidity a strong smell of water leak and the ceiling has a buble as if its water leak this hotel is old but room is clean

Room was ready early ad everything was perfect.

It’s a very old building looks dirty if you use the stairs it’s a terrible smell there. The stuff is Old not friendly except the valet. They were good for me. I will never go there again.

Like the exterior open corridors, the facility is aging, while the rooms, the pool and restaurant areas were model and ell kept. The remaining associated areas, stairwells, garage, and grounds are in need of some upkeep.

Large stains on carpets, both bedroom and hallways. Not worth the $400/night. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The overall location was absolutely fantastic and the check-in process was flawless and very helpful. But you could tell it’s kind of rundown. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The handle for the shower was just about to fall off. The floors are worn. But the resort itself was a decent one. Out on the patio though there were these tiny little black bugs that seem to be crawling all over us and we learned don’t go out on the patio lol. Just wish we could re do on a first floor in a clean room.

Great hotel for kids! We loved being so close to the ferry landing too. The main restaurant was a favorite too!

Cleanness, breakfast and pool. We arrived at 4:30 PM, but our room was still not ready, even though check-in begins at 4:00 PM. After waiting about 25 minutes, we were told one room would soon be available. There was also confusion about our reservation—the receptionist insisted we had booked a resort-view room instead of the bay-view room we reserved. She only acknowledged the correct reservation after I showed her a screenshot of the booking.
