I didn’t like this hotel and will never come back here. The bathroom is so, so tiny. I don’t understand why the footprint of the bathroom was sacrificed for a wardrobe, a fridge, and a microwave. Usually, these amenities are along the room's corridor so they don’t take away from the bathroom footprint. However, in this hotel, they basically have this small area with the amenities that you need to pass through before entering the bathroom. This setup stole valuable space from the bathroom itself. Instead, you now have an enormous waste of space right when you enter the room. Seriously, someone should get fired for having done such a horrendous job. In the morning, I asked the front desk if all the rooms have the same tiny bathroom, and the answer was yes, unless you book a suite. Mind-blowing.

The downsides were that our room AC never went below 70 which is problematic for our family while sleeping, the floor did not appear to be vacuumed well between our beds, there is a lot of outside noise, and our door closing mechanism was malfunctioning.

It was conveniently located to the University of South Carolina. Easy access to campus and walking distance to food and coffee.

The rooms were really nice and well lauded out. However, it’s close to freight train tracks and they blow the whistle several times throughout the night. They do provide solutions if interested. We also stayed 3 nights and didn’t have housekeeping come once which was surprising for this hotel.
