The Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo

Very comfortable room with plenty of additional seating. The staff were polite and knowledgeable. The hotel is ideally located right in the center of entertainment, restaurants, and shopping. You can easily park your car and walk everywhere you need to go. We highly recommend this hotel and we will be staying again in the future.

We loved the ambience of the hotel. The room was cozy and had a chic vibe. We were there for a wedding weekend. The Caboose Bar area was perfect for the welcome party, the pool was refreshing, the train cars and terminal gave everyone a taste of history, the food was amazing and the staff made everyone feel at home. We will definitely be back for a long weekend to go sightseeing since we were enjoying time with friends and didn’t leave the property.

What an amazing place to stay. The staff were so nice and helpful. Even before we go there they reached out via email to see if there was anything that they could get ready for our stay. The room was absolutely perfect. The bar and food at the hotel were amazing as well. The area around the hotel was not as lively as we had hoped but that did not take away from or stay at all. I can’t wait to go back!

Elsie was super helpful and oriented us to the surrounding area - easy walking to great restaurants, bars, and shopping. We'll be back!

Friendly helpful staff. Property was beautiful and close to several attractions. Parking can be difficult due to limited spots available for the hotel.

Phenomenal bedding and superb staff. I highly recommend staying here. It is gorgeously decorated and so comfortable! If you love vintage glam and trains, you're going to love staying here.

Great Anniversary weekend! Staff were very helpful! We came back from dinner to find a bottle of champagne waiting for us!

We stayed in a train car and it was cleaned daily and towels replaced. Staff were professional. Where the was a concern the staff were attentive. Would maybe suggest the poolside bar be open sooner.

Unique historic property perfectly located for getting around the city. Beautifully maintained, inviting outdoor seating areas and games. We loved the pool! Great meals at the on-site restaurants. Live music on the patio made for lovely evenings. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and totally professional. We would definitely stay again! No complaints!

Everything at this place is just wonderful! Stay here 2 years in a row and will be staying when I’m down next July as well!

It was okay for our first time. More than likely won’t return. We were told the water in the room was free, we were charged $7 instead on our bill. The cleaning lady knocked on our door once and didn’t give us time to respond. So of course we didn’t have on clothes trying to get ready to go to the pool. They also said you get a 10% discount if charged to our room. That didn’t happen either.

The room was clean and roomy. However, the bathroom needed better lighting AND a towel rod of some kind.. no where to hang your towel.
