The hotel rooms have worn, scratched, torn and dented furniture, upholstery, and appliances. The floors were not clean, carpet was worn and dingy. The bathroom in our room had not been completely cleaned—there was remnants of someone brushing their teeth in the sink and a wadded up wet wash cloth in the soap dish in the shower. We had reserved a suite at a cost of $354! This room would not be a $200 value. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and calm when I called and arranged for us to have a smaller room on the first floor at a lower rate. It still showed signs of wear and age but was cleaner. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the staff was extremely cordial and efficient. The hotel is allegedly under construction though I saw no signs of current work. The lobby had been updated.

Room was nice and clean. The bar area was really nice, the flatbread pizza ordered in the bar area was great. The female bartender gave us great information on getting to our venue! A+ experience. The only complaint I have is that there was a nasty smell when coming out of the building. Not sure what it was or where it was coming from but it was really bad.

It was in rougher shape than the pictures made it look and it wasn’t as clean. The garbage hadn’t been emptied in the bedroom.

Hotel staff was awesome, as usual. The hotel was clean and in a great location.

After coming here for a few visits like 6 or 7 years ago we were surprised and how down hill it has gone. The room was horribly out dated. The bathroom was disgusting. Like dried drips of something coming down the wall. Smelled musty. The pool is the only thing I can say is pretty good. We will not be staying here again.

First, Google Maps directs you to the back of the hotel, but there is no way to enter the building from the rear parking lot to check in. You have to figure out how to get around to the actual entrance, which is frustrating and poorly marked. The hotel appears to be a retrofitted commercial building that was converted into a hotel, and unfortunately, it shows. The building had very poor ventilation and the air felt stale and unpleasant. The rooms rely on individual in-unit air-conditioning rather than what you would expect from a properly ventilated hotel. Cleanliness was also a major issue. Our bathtub/shower had visible pink slime around the tub and shower area. There were also open, unfinished gaps around the bathroom area that should absolutely be sealed/caulked, both for cleanliness and to prevent pests. Our sheets had visible debris on them as well as a red marker-like stain. To top everything off, we were awakened around 6:00 AM by a false fire alarm and the entire hotel had to evacuate. During the alarm, the elevators were still operating while the rear stairwell was LOCKED. That was extremely concerning from a safety standpoint—an emergency exit/stairwell should never be inaccessible during an evacuation. Between the cleanliness issues, stale air, poorly finished building, confusing access, and especially the safety concerns during the fire alarm, this was an awful hotel experience. I would not recommend staying

The front desk lady was very kind and helped us out when we were given the wrong rooms for our booking. She got us corrected very quickly and was apologetic about the mistake. The pictures online showed a more updated facility which was misleading. The hotel is very dated and therefore the carpet is stained, the linens are dingy and more brown in color than white. There are many elderly guests staying long term which makes the hotel feel more like a retirement community than a hotel. There is gambling on-site which clearly brought in less than family friendly clientele. There is also a railroad track right beside the hotel so the train was loud and shook the hotel at all hours. Also it ended up derailing the morning we were leaving and derailed right outside the hotel. Lastly the rooms were HOT! The room was 71 when we checked in and we turned it down to 64 but the room never got down below 68.
