Wyndham Garden Buffalo Downtown

The only problem is that we weren’t clear how much it was a part of the medical complex and not really as downtown as we had in mind. Still, it was easy to get in and out to downtown and all the highways we needed. But get off track and it sends you thru some neighborhoods that have tons of lights.

This location was near all the medical centers so I feel pretty safe not that we wandered out the 1 mile radius complimentary shuttle was also very convenient as they took us to a restaurant within the one mile and picked us up after we were done the only thing I don't like is that they charge for the shuttle service to the airport if I would have known that then we would have stayed closer to the airport the breakfast was also good everything was tasty

While the property is in a central location, staff were mid, it's older and needs updates. Parking isn't available on sight. You have to go a block over to park in a lot that they share that they state is "free". I had to park on the street and pay (I wasn't told it was free on the weekend until afterward) when I spoke about the parking, I wasn't on the "list" for free valet. After looking at my confirmation, I was supposed to receive free valet upon check-in and for the duration of my stay. The hotel finally "honored" it upon my return from a festival. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. Breakfast is from 6a-10:30a, at 10:25a, a guest asked for more eggs, the cook shouts in the hallway, "it's not going to be anymore eggs, breakfast is done" while I understand 5 minutes, it could've been said better to the older gentlemen. I expected more from Wyndham, but I wouldn't stay there again. $200 for 1 night is $200 too much.

Had a great stay will return

Booked this room after a snafu at our original booking at another hotel. The front desk staff were PHENOMENAL! The shuttle service was an added bonus and the driver was very sweet. Rooms were clean and the property was maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice accommodations

The room was not clean to Wyndam standards. The odor in the room was not pleasant, due to the old carpet in the room. The hallway air quality is not the best as well. I assume the air quality issue is known due to the air purifier in the hallways. The room is self is old and was not clean as expected. There was residue on the side of the night stand.

Great stay! Lovely staff!

I booked here because I stayed last year at this hotel and they had a shuttle that took us to a local concert venue. This year when I arrived and asked about the shuttle they advised that they don’t allow it to go that far. I only booked this hotel for that reason, it wasn’t very nice when I stayed last year but the shuttle would have made one night worth it. Then we went to our room and both beds were dirty. The linens had stains, and the replacements we received were also stained. Overall it just felt very unclean, we used clorox wipes to clean ours sleeves because the room was not great. Will not be staying at this hotel again. My vehicle also came back with some odd things, a shoe print on my back bumper? And a few weird stains on the wheel wells so I have to take it to be cleaned immediately after getting home which is the last thing I want to worry about.

The only unexpected charge was for parking. Totally enjoyed the experience. Traveled with a special needs child and the staff was super understanding and accommodating.

So I’d have to say everything was great. The one thing that was above and beyond the best was the staff especially Sarah she was amazing. She was the overnight one and the lady from the morning. I don’t know if her name was Debbie or not every single person was so helpful there and we only had one thing that fell through, which was the shuttle, but the staff was so great with directions and how they told us how to catch the train all that that it actually was easier probably to do it. That way we made it to the event on time. It was just great. Everything was great. I would definitely love to stay there again.
