On check in I was upgraded to a kingsize room for free. I was immensely pleased with this due to sharing with a child for the evening, it meant I got more bed space. The receptionist was very helpful. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfy. The shower leaked so the pressure was not great. Had this in another room when I previously stayed. The towel rail didn't heat up so by morning the towels we used the night before were still damp. There wasn't enough sugar for 2 cups of tea in the morning and only one bottle of still water. The iron when used left dirty water marks on my clothes. I forgot my toothbrush and the hotel don't offer spares or flannels which I think they should consider for the future. The hairdryer was clogged with dust and when turned on gave off a burning smell.

The balcony is a game changer for us, fresh air and access to the outside. Rooms are smaller for a king but the balcony makes up for that. The location is surprisingly quiet. Bathroom floor should have been cleaner and dust puffs between the bed and side table - dropped item. Dinner was lovely, breakfast could be better- fresher.

Location, friendly and nerdy helpful Bed sheets where a little stained not by me Staying also two nights had to ask for room to be cleaned, not fussed about cleaning but towels to be changed and water refilled

Reception staff was lovely. Room was nice The breakfast is NOT worth the money. £19.50 each, and it was shocking. No one was checking to make sure the people attending had paid either
