Still Waters Resort

Absolutely beautiful place. My 2nd stay. Lots to do. Very clean. Staff super friendly. However at check in time there should be more than 2 people. It took too long to get checked in. Expect to walk a lot up and down hill unless you can afford the ridiculously over priced golf carts. We had tacos and nachos and it wasn't terrible and prices made sense. But no salsa???? Karaoke on Saturday night sounded great but the rotation didn't make sense. Same people over and over in a row. I gave up and left. Friday karaoke was just terrible. Sounded awful and tiny speakers that you couldn't even hear unless you were right up front. Over all it was great. Not really complaining just giving some feedback that might help. Oh also an adult pool only would be a fantastic addition.

Didnt get to check in til after 430 pm even though reserved months ahead, Frig didnt work when checked in ut called next morning it was replaced with doors backward. You have to run hot water for 10 to 15 minutes to ge t any. Burners didnt stay flat. Batteries in remote went dead and tv in bedroom was stuckon all night. In room phone is just for decoration so takeone. Bring a can of wd40 to make sliding glass door open and close easier. Ive stayed here several time over the last 6 yrs or so and it has went way downhill. Think theymay spend to much time trying to sell time shares instead of quality of condos.

Not enough parking

The property is fantastic for families. My kids absolutely loved and everything you need is on site or very close by. The lake is amazing

This is a great family friendly resort. There is so much included in your stay to make it worth it. We really enjoyed the 3 clean pools and waterslides. The food is convenient and the food court area has a great atmosphere. You can spend the whole day at the marina on the kayaks, paddleboards, and water bikes. They have a great swim area at the lake. The crafts and activities were a nice touch, my child enjoyed it. There was never a lack of something to do. The resort was safe and great for families visiting with children. We will be returning!

We absolutely loved the resort. One hiccup was we arrived at 3:30 and checkin was at 4. We were told it would be ready by 4 but we ended up having to wait until almost 5pm to get a key to our room. We have 2 small kids who were dying to get to the pool but we had no access to diaper changing tables or anything like that. Other than the slow check in time, we loved the pools, live music, ambiance and general feel of the resort. We definitely will be back.

Enjoyable

I feel that this property is extremely overcrowded for its amenities. The room was not, at its most cleanly state, the sofa bed mattress topper was stained, and clearly not cleaned. The bathroom had debris in the corners, and our doorway had trash from the previous person dropped on the floor. The positive note is access to the lake is absolutely amazing and Brandon at the marina really made our stay worth it.

No coffee in the room with the coffee pot. No shampoo and conditioner in the room. No ice bucket for free ice. Ice was 4.50 a bag. Phone was broke. T.V. going out lol. But what was nice is at the lake marina the paddle boards, kakaks, pole fishing and wheel paddle cars was free with your stay. . Pizza world was okay one yogurt and a pizza with everything on it was 36.00. The food at the front was awful. They burnt our chicken strips and the rubins didn't have thousand Island dressing. It still was terrible and especially for two sandwiches without a drink and without a side it was 37.00 My granddaughter wants to go back because the lake is clean and she can put on googles and a mask and see the little fish underwater. I almost forgot you can get a breakfast pizza and that's all the breakfast they serve. You might want to bring your own or go off the resort. There's a neart blow up slide,. I will post pictures of that. You have to sign a waiver.

Stillwater is a very affordable resort, especially for what you receive. The free kayak and paddle board rentals were a definite bonus. It was also nice to have food and drink options on the property. The only complaints were that there really weren't enough pools for all the guests that were there at the time. Also, the bar doesn't stay open as late as listed.

Check in staff were very friendly. Our condo was needing some updating. We had a hard time getting in every time our key cards

Property was awesome. My only complaint a the room keys. We had to go back to office multiple times a day as the key cards kept deactivating. The shuttle service was a game changer.

VOMIT IN OUR BED when we checked into building E room 120. We booked for four-nights and arrived August 5th. We weren’t able to check in so went to the pool and then later got our keys and moved our stuff into the room and then did pool and dinner. Around 9:30 when my wife pulled the sheets back and got into the master bed, SHE LAID ON A VOMIT SOAKED SHEET that smelled horrible. We immediately called the front desk, and a laundry lady came to help and found that it went through the sheets, mattress pad and protectors all the way into the mattress, which was also wet. See attached pictures. I spoke to the concierge staff and they claimed they couldn’t move us to another room because the resort was booked and they also said there weren’t any replacement mattresses, so we had to sleep on the couch that night. WE PAID $500 a night for this experience. The next day the manager (Heather) said they’d clean the mattress and refund our stay for 1 night. We didn’t really trust that it had been clean considering that it had fully soaked into the mattress, but we had no other options and ended up sleeping on the couch for the final 3 nights. Sleeping in a bed like that is not something you can unsee…we also had to deal with it the entire second day while at silver dollar city on the phone with the manager, who said we could either leave the resort or just sleep on the bed and she refused to offer any further refund. DO.NOT.BELIEVE.THE.ADS.OR.5.STAR.REVIEWS!!! This place is absolutely DISGUSTING. Dirty, sticky carpet. Black bathtubs w/leftover water in them. Substances on the kitchen cabinet doors. They do NOT give paper towels in the kitchen or even soap for one load of laundry. The ceiling fan is about to come off the ceiling while you sleep. The walls are so paper thin, we all woke up every hour from all the noise. Key cards do not work hardly and had to call maintenance to help. The kayaking is one small area and youll be bored after 20 mins. There were no fishing poles. They try to rope you into a timeshare when you get there and then if you cancel the same day (even a few hours later) they will charge you $40, even when you have not been given any gifts. Please, if you value your families safety. Go elsewhere. Battaglia and co owner SHOULD BE ASHAMED!! Bragging about owning this hole since 1999 but scams hard working customers and jobs their kids of a safe/clean place to stay. Nice outdoor bar with tv's and furnature bag games and outdoor tv's live music about everynight also! good food options also

We have been going Still Waters for about six years. I do feel that members are treated a bit better than "regular" guests. That being said the Marina is a big plus. The new staff were so friendly and Brandon was so nice - he worked well under pressure and apologized for delays. It is family friendly and recommend for families with small children as well as teens.

The pictures are definitely of the upgraded units however for the deal we got the unit we were in was great.
