Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown

The room we were put in smelled as if it was a 'smoking room' that was deeply cleaned and trying to be transitioned to a 'non-smoking' room. Wish it wasn't the case. Otherwise a great stay.

Wonderful staff!

This was an overall nice hotel to stay at. There was a mix up with the room I booked and the staff was nice enough to give my friend and I separate rooms due to the issue. The only mishap I had was I had mistakenly assumed breakfast was complimentary and I had grabbed a plate and ate only a couple of things and staff had informed me after I ate that it had cost, which was just a slight inconvenience. Other than those two things, I enjoyed my stay and liked the atmosphere of the hotel. The water machine was very helpful as well. It was very busy at the concierge desk most of the time, so I understand how the mistakes could happen. I would just advise anyone staying here to check whether they added on paid breakfast or not before grabbing it!

I booked a room through Expedia for a double bed. I arrived and the room was double bed, but for a disabled person. I ask the front desk to change this to a regualar room but they said I booked through Expedia so I they can't change it. I wish Expedia would disclose that as part of the booking. Good deals on Expedia, but be careful...there is probably a reason.

Great location!

Hotel was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Every single staff member I ran into was friendly and nobody passed you without saying hello or good morning. The breakfast was delicious and had tons of options.

Rooms are EXTREMELY small, For the price, you get smaller than a motel room.

the restaurant was only open in the morning. I like the option of eating at the restaurant. Last year, we stayed at the hilton boston park plaza. the amenities were much better, the room was larger and just generally more comfortable. I am not sure how prices compare, but it was vacation, and while the hilton was almost certainly more expensive, the experiences were also very different, in the favor of the hilton. for a business trip, the marriott would be suitable to me. Vacations, I am looking for more.

The staff was unbelievable during our stay… they were beyond great! So helpful knowledgeable n accommodating! I would def stay there again!

Location was perfect. We caught the shuttle for the BTS concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough with Boston Common Coach right outside the hotel door!

Also when I checked, the room we were given was much cheaper than the one I booked but no refund of the difference on my emailed receipt. Also dirty glassware in the room and minimal facilities. Very small wardrobe, no drawer space,

Loved the water station in the lobby

Nice hotel but Friday night was very loud from the ambulance sirens passing by, loud people on the street near the hotel, cars rushing until 2-3 am
