Best Western Plus Newark/Christiana Inn

The staff was amazing and helpful. The breakfast was good as well

Our toliet was broken it smelled absolutely horric in the room. The child about 17 told us the maintains guy was off and he had no rooms or plunger. I asked to use the bathroom in the main l9bby three times I was refused . The room smelled like mold. We left at 3:30 a.m. because the hotel clerk wouldn't let a senior citizen i. The main lobby bathroom nor offered any help . I had to go pee so baf being a senior they tried to take advantage of cause I signed in with hotel .com not my best western account I got a filthy room ...

Hot tub was broken bed was comfy though would stay again

The hot tub was still not fixed. The small of cat urine was a little disturbing.

I read online that roughly 5 months ago there had been a bedbug problem. This was such a disgusting hotel that, were I not in town for a funeral, I would’ve checked out of immediately. I still can’t believe I spent $325.80 for two nights. A terrible ripoff during a time of deep grief. I’m furious about the entire stay. Only positive experience was the staff, who seemed genuinely bad that the accommodations were woefully poor.

We walked in the door to five or six teenagers running up and down the hallway, screaming and giggling, and knocking on doors. The lady behind the front desk was so overwhelmed. She couldn’t get the people that were swimming in the pool to understand that the pool had been closed for over an hour. We got a refund after I arrived in the room and discovered that under the rubber mat in the shower there was thick black mold growing. We went back downstairs and said I want my money back. She reimbursed you guys, but I have still not been reimbursed. I am still waiting for my refund. I put out $126 on this hotel room and I have not received a dime back yet.im not happy with your service at all either.

I didn't really care for this particular Best Western. I stayed for 3 days. The fact you could only Enter through the front entrance was a pain. This one particular customer was very annoying and coughing all over breakfast which made me loose my appetite. The last day i stayed it alot of freaking noise with children running around in the hallway. And don't tell customers a deposit is $100.00 and I look and it was $120.00 instead. Its around alot of stores and restaurants in the area ,but no I would not stay here again.

This place had a bad moldy smell in the lobby and going to the room the beds or and the floors were very dirty looking the whole hotel was very unsatisfactory so I didn’t stay there that night. We left because the smell was making me and my granddaughter feel sick. We had to go to another hotel for accommodation for the two nights that we were in Delaware. I request a refund thank you.

Hostel exceeded my expectations for sure. I would not recommend their washers tho

I waited 5–10 minutes at an empty front desk before someone finally came to check me in. The first room they gave me was filthy and appeared to be someone else’s room, with garbage, leftover food, an unmade bed, and the TV still on. The second room smelled so horrible that I kept gagging and almost throwing up. The pillows were soaked with the smell of other people’s sweat, and the odor was unbearable. I kept gagging again and again before I was finally able to fall asleep. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The best part was leaving!

Clean, functional

The staff who checked us in was the only best part. She was polite and delightful. The room gave you yuck vibes. There were bugs not many but were there. I google image it they weren’t bed bugs but still. The room had an order and the pool needs cleaning. The other guests were loud and heard barking through out night and guests doing illegal substances in the parking lot. I know the hotel can’t control all this but I wouldn’t stay here again
