Breakfast was made to order and included some unique options. Will definitely remember this place when attending a show in Bar Harbor

Location was good and we went to the land bridge to the island a couple of times. There were 2 beds in our room which was spacious and had a bathtub. Bathroom towels were nice and coffee and hot. Chocolate in the lobby every day. For charging over $600 a night, I thought this was an atrocious choice. There is no closet and no basic hotel amenities like slippers or bathrobes that come with rooms that cost a quarter of this. Understand that this is the end of peak season but having lived all over the world and travelled a ton, I was deeply disappointed in this hotel. Beds were extremely soft and uncomfortable for my back and neck. The pillows were stuffed into pillowcases that are too small further exacerbating neck pain after sleep. No fridge or water boiler or coffee maker in the room. Cheap low quality shampoo and body gel that weren’t even replenished the next day. The front desk receptionist who checked us in wasn’t friendly (very stand offish) which was strange since the people in Maine we encountered generally were friendly. Restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive other than one woman who was also very stand offish, strange. Breakfast sides were all prepared early so were rubbery and cold every morning. The entrees were covered in sauce of some variety (extremely over dressed) and not kid friendly. Only water dispenser we found was next to reception on ground floor and ice machine is in the basement next to the parking garage. Elevator got extremely busy during mornings so we took the stairs a lot. The parking lot on site was usually full so there’s a lot across the street

Stayed with 2 young kids - 2 queens - was a huge room with plenty of space for suitcases open etc. stayed 3 nights and was a fab location in bar harbor. Free parking was great and handy to have free breakfast included too. Jordan’s pancakes for breakfast across the road as an alternative was also convenient. Walkable to everything in bar harbor and fab base to explore Acadia national park.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the location in downtown Bar Harbor couldn't be better. It is incredibly convenient being just a short walk from the Acadia Park shuttles. Our room was spotless, we really enjoyed the breakfast, and parking was always a breeze with spots readily available either under the hotel or right across the street. We had a wonderful stay...highly recommend!

Modern and clean property. Breakfast was great and the happy hour was great. Our bartender was terrific and prepared some amazing drinks. There was not daily housekeeping unless you specifically request it. When we did, the rooms were not cleaned until 3:00. We had to also request new towels.

We loved our room and the fact that it had a total of 4 windows, I love sunlight !! Very clean and everyone there was friendly . The complementary breakfast was top notch. Walking distance to sand bar and down town shopping!!! I will continue to come back here in the future.
