Motel 6 Bakersfield, CA - East

There were problems with the utilities in the room I had been given after I unloaded the car. I was given a new room, so I had to move everything. The staff were nice and helpful, but the homeless population made the stay very unsettling - washing under a faucet near my room, smoking and blowing the smoke in my face. I didn't feel safe walking anywhere.

My back was so unhappy

I love the staff but u got drug dealers, homeless, addicts living there and there all night, in parked cars selling from there and running around being loud all night long

This place sucks !

I only had 1towel 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. Hotter than hell and the pool was closed.

Great place to stay nice environment

Pools empty and place isnt brand new. Lots of homeless around but had no negative issues .

Not to happy with this place, considering the area you would expect it, but if you pay maybe 10 more dollars and go next door to the WoodSpring suites you have more room for your money ( stovetop, fridge bigger cleaner restrooms)

The room was clean and taken care of. Staff was Nice The Homeless were all around the parking lot and messing with cars overnight

Excellent staff very professional and respectful. Amazing customer service. We had a bad experience from the beginning. Our 1st room 221 we got, the restroom was clogged and the front office changed our room. Our second room 103 was not up to pair. It was not clean, the bed was not made, the restroom was peed on, trash was left behind and the sink was clogged. Very bad experience.

STAFF IS HORRIBLE. IF YOU MAKE A NEW RESERVATION FOR A STAY OVER THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 20$ EXTRA TO USE THE NEW RESERVATION, THEN IF YOU JUST DECIDE TO PAY THE WALK IN PRICE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AN EXTRA 10$ JUST TO PAY FOR THE NEXT DAY EVEN IF YOURE ALREADY IN A ROOM JUST LOOKING TO PAY FOR ANOTHER NIGHT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AN EXTRA 10$ ON TOP OF WALK IN PRICE BECAUSE IT IS CONSIDERED AN EARLY CHECK IN. THAT IS RIDICULOUS. I DO BELIEVE THE WORKERS ARE SCAMMERS AND LOOKING TO TUCK EXTRA MONEY FOR THEMSELVES BECAUSE THAT MAKES NO SENSE. THE ROOMS ARE VERY DIRTY. DO THE MAIDS EVEN CLEAN? THE FIRST ROOM I CHECK INTO HAD A BED BUG INFESTED MATTRESS. I ASKED TO SWITCH ROOMS. SECOND ROOM HAD A LITERAL USED CONDOM IN THE BATHTUB. I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK AND LEFT. NEVER WILL RETURN . THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DISGUSTING EXCUSE OF A MOTEL.

There is too much foot traffic from drug addicts. Beds have bed bugs. Restroom was not cleaned properly.

Clean, check-in was fast. One of owner’s family adult member was making a rather late phone call right outside of our window, walking back and forth across it, trying not to disturb her family but not ours!

Cold AC. Lots of nearby food options.

Do not stay here! Rooms and furniture smell like cigarettes, like they need to get burned because no cleaning will fix that.,There was cockroaches in the bathroom, the fire alarm beeped all night. The other residents were making noises, screaming and laughing and playing loud music at random times of the night. Even the soap looked like it was going to give me bacteria. Towels super old. Dog poop and garbage everywhere in the parking lot. Avoid this place of you wanna get out of there alive and well. I don't know how I lasted 6 hours there. As soon as there was daylight we ran. Never go with kids to this place. Never go at all. Trashy at the best expression.

The floor was sticky, the bathroom dirty. It seems like it's cleaned once a month
