I returned to the hotel and found my entire guest floor filled with cigarette smoke. The smell had gotten into my room. This is a smoke-free Marriott property. I reported it to staff on the floor, and a manager told me he would spray the room instead of moving me. I had to go down to the front desk and ask a second time before I was relocated. The next day, cigarette smoke reached the new floor too, so the move did not fix anything. Separately, I got on the guest elevator with another guest and a hotel employee wheeled in room service food on an open cart, completely uncovered, no tray and no lid. I asked where the cover was and he said his job is just to bring the food up. To reach the rooftop bar I had to walk in through the kitchen. Once there, staff were loudly discussing personal business in front of guests. The bed was extremely hard and my back hurt by the end of the stay. This is an Autograph Collection property at an Autograph Collection price. A guest who reports cigarette smoke should not have to ask twice, and moving floors should not have been necessary at a smoke-free hotel.

Friday night, I reported that my TV and room phone were not working. Maintenance came and explained that both were affected by a storm-related outage. By Saturday evening, neither was working, so I reported it again. No one came. I later requested maintenance for 9 a.m. Sunday since I would be out, but again, no one showed. The broken phone became especially frustrating when I tried to order room service. I called the restaurant from my cell with no answer, and even the front desk couldn't get through. I eventually had to get dressed, go downstairs, order in person, and return to my room. Sunday night, the GM finally came up, removed a box from behind the TV, and got it working. The phone was never resolved. I also left my DND sign on Sunday, yet my room was cleaned anyway. I didn't make an issue of it until I discovered my washcloths hadn't been replaced and brand-new plastic utensils I'd left in the room had been thrown away. I did receive a $60 credit when I initially reported the TV and phone, which I appreciated. But the repeated lack of follow-through turned several small issues into a disappointing experience. Good hospitality isn't about everything being perfect; it's about how problems are handled when they aren't.

Old, dirty, stuff not working
-
The property was very nice and convenient to MARTA. We had an issue with being overcharged and were offered a food and beverage credit which was appreciated. The terrace pool was a great feature.
-
Clean room! Comfortable and affordable! Highly recommend!
-
The hotel stay was great but issues with the parking.
-
Very dirty and out of date!
-
I chose to this property again because of its location and amenities. And yes the staff. The rooms are very nice and the beds so comfortable! The pool is a nice feature for some chill down time.

Very good
-
There was no working phone or television in my room or the room I was moved to. Not the worse thing but truly annoying to not have available.
-
Hotel is okay. It was in the middle of construction when I stayed. Their valet is a third party and for those rates. It’s ridiculous their day shift is pretty okay but that night shift needs some work. I will not be back.

Please revamp this hotel felt as if I was in a dump
-
It has everything u need . Clean rooms , nice atmosphere , and the rooftop bar . Don’t even need to leave the hotel to have a good time .
-
Horrible experience! The hotel has a rooftop bar, and since we were placed on the 10th floor, we couldn’t sleep until 3 am the first night. When I called the front desk, they said the rooftop bar is their landmark and they could only move us the next day. We switched rooms, but that night there was still screaming and laughter until 2 am. The next day, housekeeping wasn’t done until 6 pm, and when I asked for cups, I was told they were out. The bedding was awful too. This is the first time I’ve stayed at a Marriott with such poor service.

Don’t believe the pictures carpet was wet in the room, and plumbing issues with buckets and machines was surrounded catching plumbing water from the ceiling.
