You'll find a warm and nostalgic charm here in this historical hotel building centrally located to the theatre's, restaurants and the Lithia Park area. Lovely architecture and architectural elements that draw the eye and engage the mind. The king room and bath was a bit small but its charm and the corner view more than made up for it. Staff were pleasant and accommodating when asked. The young woman at the front desk was quite informative and personable. Do visit the well kept garden area. It's a quiet and enjoyable atmosphere - a perfect place for sipping your morning coffee!

Beautiful hotel and decorated nicely.

May I suggest bike rentals from the hotel would be nice, or just a bike corral for people who are camping and would like to have dinner @ Larks. It was a great experience. My girlfriend and I are planning next years perofrmances. thank you. 5 stars all the way.

Delightful historic hotel, centrally located. Room was stylish and the lobby is a comfortable, beautiful place to relax. Do friendly!!

We were moved 3 times to get an accessible shower. Gave up when the “accessible “ shower had no handle bars. This is a 104 year old hotel with cheap updating. Our king room had a bathroom in which it literally was difficult to turn around. Cannot recommend this property which does have a great location. That location got us there. Never again!

Great central location to the play’s & downtown. Beautiful unique building.

Nice room.

Proximity and history. The breakfast staff was severely understaffed.

Location is good

The ambience Signage for the breakfast room. The outside windows were dirty. Also there was a large spider hanging in a web, that we thought at first it was on the inside.

This is a beautiful property in the absolute bet location. Worth every penny. Surprisingly good air conditioning. The carpet in the hallway on our floor was covered in stains. But, that was literally the only flaw in the whole place and did not reflect in any way on the quality of our room.

Location, amenities, charm, breakfast Not much except my room was right above mechanical and it was a bit noisy at times

The AC was loud and the carpet was stained.

It was lovely

The hotel itself is very charming and the staff were most gracious and helpful from the front desk to the maintenance staff to the housekeeping staff. Its location is perfect with a number of restaurants within one block in either direction and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters only one block away. Gated parking was free and the rear entrance from the parking lot directly to the third floor elevator saved many steps. The elevator was quite slow even though it was only about 20 years old, but its character was beautifully integrated into the 1925 hotel original architecture. A standard breakfast was $5 for what you would expect to receive for free at most hotels. A microwave in the room would have been helpful.
-
Proximity to Shakespeare Festival Queen beds seem smaller than a standard queen.

The breakfast was a real value! We did it 2 mornings. we had 3 to the room, and I missed not having a dresser to store clothes in. I just don't like living out of a suitcases
