Motel 6 Anchorage, AK - Midtown

The clerk at the desk was super nice, and very helpful.

Its a Motel 6, but a pretty good one!

The motel was clean, newly renovated. It was close to the airport and the shuttle was prompt. It was also s short distance from places downtown Anchorage and the staff was very pleasant, helpful and check in/process was easy.

Another good stay here, 2nd stay in the same week. Again convenient for our trip with washing machines and dryers to use for $2 each and free airport shuttle for returning our rental car. Staff always very helpful.

The staff was great, the room was clean, the bath room was adequate but the toilet did not work properly and no shampoo available.

Serviceable in a high priced town.

There was no shampoo, only bar soap. Very unpleasant to wash your hair with bar soap. One of the towels had multiple brown/reddish stains, was it dried feces or blood remnants? If you don't want to replace stained towels that cost $20, shows how little you care about customer satisfaction/reputation/ratings.

All of the staff was helpful but Sonya went the extra mile to help me and I really appreciated it.

The shower didn’t work very well

The staff is friendly and helpful. Not much you can say about a Motel 6. It is a basic hotel but served our needs for one night before a flight.

The hotel was fine and very convenient for getting back to the airport.

Clean room, airport shuttle, stored our bags. Basic but decent accommodations. People were great and helpful. Walls are thin so a bit noisy as other guests move around.

Helpful staff, quick shuttle nearby restaurants. Not The Four Seasons but good comfortable hotel.

The biggest problem with this motel is the sound isolation. You can hear the sound of the next room and upstairs very clearly. The first night, we barely could sleep

Parking was under good light the room was fine it had a few minor problems easy fix house keeping did fine coming by twice a day.

Lost Item & Poor Service: My daughter accidentally left a specialized white medical undershirt (worn with her scoliosis brace) on the white bedding, which housekeeping clearly swept into the laundry with the sheets. I called three separate times asking them to check the laundry, but staff dismissed it with "nothing found" without making a real effort to follow up. Maintenance Issues: Two out of our three rooms had malfunctioning showers and plumbing issues. Noise & Missing Amenities: Very noisy throughout the night, making it hard to get rest. Also note there are no in-room coffee makers/kettles and no hallway water dispensers. Unhelpful staff and poor maintenance. I would recommend families look elsewhere when staying in Anchorage.

Great staff we came in early and they were able to hold our luggage while we saw the sites in town. Great shuttle service on time and accommodating. Enjoyed a few of the restaurants that we were able to walk to.

Very helpful and friendly staff though. So, that's a plus
