The outdoor hot springs were very nice although the waterslide stairs & interior structure to the building needs to be updated (they look like they could be a safety issue sooner than later). We bought our son a float at the gift shop and then were told he couldn't use it multiple times. Friday night got a bit chilly so we went indoors and were using the indoor pools and were rudely approached by a 20 something year old girl in a thong bathing suit who told us indoor pools were closed - we were not the only ones in there & there was nothing stating they were closed (website says outdoor will be closing 9/8 but nothing about indoor) the next day there was a 8x11 piece of paper up saying they were closed. We also saw mice running around the indoor pool area so I guess that was a blessing. Restaurant is overpriced for what the food is. We ate at the Springwater Cafe while we were there...got the "prime rib" tacos the first night - it was deli roast beef that was not very good for $22 with chips. The Royal Cobb that was supposed to be on a bountiful bed of greens was iceberg lettuce (some brown), avocado that was clearly previously frozen, and dry chicken ($24)

New pools were great, but room was dated. Took 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower. Ran heat all night and room barely for above 68. Not a value experience for the price of the room

The pools are great. Nice to have drinks available in the pool area. The drying rack in the tub was not working so we used our patio furniture for that. Not ideal. We ate at the cafe for dinner-two of the orders were wrong. Food was pretty expensive and just pretty good. Breakfast was very good except for the cinnamon roll French toast -hard and flat. Cinnamon rolls were great.

My family loved the pool additions, cozy beds , very clean room. We will definitely stay at Fairmont hot springs again.

The pools are fantastic. We has one meal which was terrible. A chicken salad with dried chicken and a caprese panini which was a sandwich with old tomato and minimal filling.

    Nice

Afternoon front desk staff was exceptional and accommodating and friendly. Swimming was my kids favorite part of our whole vacation. We will come back again.

The bed was collapsed and left my husband sleeping in a hole, the ceilings look like tie-dye art with all of the water leaks present, and a cup of hot coffee seemed impossible to get. Desk staff that gives you the impression you’re an nuscance to them. Overall, there’s just really not much good left to say about this place.

The new pools are very nice. The finish on the bottom of the new pools is very rough on your feet. Sadly they are getting rid of the big outdoor pool because that is the best part of the stay. The total amount of pool surface will be drastically reduced once they take that pool. It is a great place for families. For some reason there was a dog on the pool deck, it was not a service dog! There were also bats, several bats, in the lobby. We have been going here for 30 years. We hope to go back as long as the pool experience is good.

This place that think they are a 5star resort lack in so many ways. 85%of the staff look like they would like to be anywhere but at Fairmont. Chairs and garbage cans were not equally dispersed. Doorway to outdoor pool is disgusting looking. Ate in the cafe at 8:45 at night and had to wait 45 minutes to get our food. Hopefully they will work harder on becoming what they think they are.

Stopped at the hotel on our way through Montana. When we showed up, we paid for our room, got our keys and headed to change to use the hot springs. Upon entering the elevator and the halls, we noticed it was very warm inside, but figured it was the heat from the day. Once we opened our room, we had a drastic shift in temperature. Our room was registering 63F degrees inside. My husband figured the AC had been left on, and went to adjust it, but it wouldn't turn on. We called the front desk to which they told us that the resort did not currently have any heat or AC, mind you I had just checked in and this was never mentioned. This is 8pm at night, so it was getting late. The front desk offered us a space heater for the evening, but that was all they could do. At this time, more and more families began complaining as they were now getting kids reads for bed with no heat and limited space heaters. For over $300 a night, this should have been mentioned at check-in. We asked for a refund, which took over 45 minutes and they made me call Expedia to get it authorized. Then told us that they found another hotel for us to stay in that had a vacancy in Anaconda, then sent us on our way. We traveled to the new hotel that they sent us to in Anaconda, but the staff there said they told them they were already full when they called. By the time our head hit a pillow, it was a 40 min drive and all resteraunts were closed, so we ate gas station food. Horrible experience!

The room was fine, but the pool area was not.

Pool was nice room was a little rough.. hole patch on ceiling, squished bugs in bathroom ceiling. But it was a crash pad on the road trip and the kids loved the pools and slide. Golf course was nice too!.

The hot springs weren’t hot. The water was warmer than a swimming pool but we went there to soak in hot spring water. Very disappointing.
