It’s a complicated property to arrive to because signs are not prominently displayed on the road. You need to park in the lot underground and walk through the passway. But once you arrive it’s a nice hotel with everything you need. Free continental breakfast and a couple of restaurants walking distance.

Parking was super easy with a connected garage - great being right in the center of campus (with an EV charger that lets you charge overnight!).

The room was clean, the room was very cold and we couldn’t stop the air conditioner. The bathroom was tiny and difficult to get in the shower.

Great hotel at a very reasonable price. Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good, a few more nutritious options would be nice, but we really appreciated the gluten free breads and non dairy milk options. We LOVED the recycling, compost and compostable dishes. Better directions to the hotel and where to park would be helpful (that could be an Expedia issue). A bit annoying to pay for parking after paying for the room, but otherwise a great hotel!

Stayed there just before move in day as our son goes the other college in town, so it wasn't crowded or noisy. It's worth knowing that the hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor and the floors above are hotel rooms. The floors below are for the students. Walls seem thin as it was easy to overhear conversation in the nearby rooms.

Parking was conveniently under the hotel and our meeting with the University representative was on the first floor of the hotel.

I enjoyed staying at Hotel UMass. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and provided excellent service, and the location was great. I would stay there again.

Also, staff was vacuuming while we were trying to eat. That combination made the end to our stay annoying. Otherwise, a solid stay.

Most convenient facility for any stays related to UMass Amherst. The underground parking facility is a bit dated and unappealing but the facility is quite good otherwise

We were assigned Room 607, which was especially cold due to the summer air conditioner being on and non-responsive to thermostat changes. The front desk staff was quick to provide a stand-alone space heater, which quickly made the room comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient, with Yogurt, Bread, GF Bread, Bagels, GF Bagels, Fruit, Pastries, and a Waffle station. 24-hour drink offerings at lobby were exceptional; with a single-serve coffee bar/machine, wonderful Tea varieties, Sparkling & Still Water, and a selection of fruit juices.

Great place to stay while visiting UMass. The rooms are in good shape and you can’t beat the location.

Easy check in, parking is covered by the hotel, breakfast coffee and tea variety is great, some apples and bananas, the rest isn't really a healthy choice, but downstairs on the campus concourse there is more to choose from to buy.
